Indeed. Everyone loves Garrus (me for example has a minor obssesion with our favourite turian).

I don't like Garrus. I don't hate him either. He's probably my least favorite squad mate of all.

I recall a while back there was a large survey tracking individual character popularity, and out of 808 voters, about 6 said they hated Garrus. If we assume this to be true of the whole, 0.7% hate Garrus.

Isn't it weird ? I mean .. There are ppl who hate Tali, although she is most popular character in ME universe.. But everyone likes Garrus - no hate at all .. Why is that ?

I loved Garrus in ME and his recruitment Mission for ME2 was awesome. I think it was his whole "as long as the job is done who cares" attitude and take on things. Plus the whole Archangel role fitted him perfectly.



I think he started to lose some lovable attitude by the ME2 end game though.

I like Garrus cause hes the ME Batman. He doesnt take no for an answer, he has an idea and he does it. Hes getting darker but I think it suits him. Too bad he doesnt have a turian to help him test his reach, and her flexibility

Trolls realized that they could get the most vivid reactions out of the Tali fanbase, so they target that area for their little parades and thread derailings. The Garrus fanbase, be it due to size, general characteristics, or whatever else, simply fails to provide as much of a reaction when trolled. And since all the trolls care about is the reaction...they go for the biggest response possible without needing any extra stimulus.

Unfortunately, the forum is now mostly divided over this (generally ridiculous) issue, so the problem isn't likely to correct itself anytime in the near future.

On Garrus, he's simply one of the best "bro" characters in the game, and gets the job done in combat as well. Usefulness + effective characterization results in a win.

And that influenced their opinion about garrus and if they like or dislike him.I was dissapointed that

I'm paragon too and yet I wasn't really dissapointed with Garrus in ME2 .. Shepards death hitted everyone who cared about her/him really hard (take Liara for example) and Garrus tried to do his best with his life ..

ME2 Garrus was just disappointing. He's my least favorite ME2 squaddie.
