I'm getting a new PC next week I just wanted to know if I will be able to transfer over my saves from the old pc to the new one with no trouble?  I'll be going from Windows XP to Windows 7.  Any advice would be welcome

I -just- did this. Not even 2 weeks ago.

Grab yourself an external hard drive.

Or, if you're determined to spent as little money as possible, get a USB flashdrive of around a few gigs.

I was able to simply copy-pasta onto my external HD, and then off my external onto the new rig, without any complications. An external will also be a great back up for any important information from your old computer you wish to save, or if something ever happens to your computer.

As for a free option?

Well, then you might want to try and throw the whole BioWare folder from your documents into a .rar or .zip and storing it online somewhere to download later. Though most storing sites i know are going to require you cut it up into pieces unless you pay for a larger upload capacity, which is where that might get complicated.

My BioWare folder is 3 gigs, with ME1 , ME2, and DA, + DA DLC.

If you're just porting over Mass Effect 1 and 2, the folder may be small enough to avoid any trouble.
