Bethany also sounded like a giddy version of Morrigan but that's beside the point

I remember somewhere someone thought he sounded like cailan when they played the demo at san diego, so maybe him? I don't think he was majorly popular with fans (although I'm not too fussed, at least he has a genuine english accent, that's all I'm worried about at the moment lol)
Peter Bramhill.![]()
He speaks here, here, and here. *is a bit of a Cailan fanatic*
Sounds like the Helpful Refugee in lothering

That's Teagan's VA and Teagan is pretty popular (especially with the ladies) so I bet it's not him.nerdage wrote...
Maybe it's whoever did the human male voice set that everyone seemed to hate? I don't think I could get half way through a "Can I get you a ladder, so you can get off my back?" before forcibly shut down my computer.

He doesn't scratch himself and grunt enough for the bros.errant_knight wrote...
I wouldn't have thought that Cailan was unpopular enough for the description to fit, but perhaps that's not the case.I thought Peter Bramhill did an excellent job, and if there have to be voiced PCs, well, I think he'd be a good choice.
Which is one reason, besides the fact that I like Cailan, that I hope he's the one. It would make me lol. Same deal if it's Jory's VA, another "wimpy" Origins character. There has to be some reason for Gaider's maniacal laughter.
Vaughn's voice sounds 30s to me, too old if Hawke is supposed to be in his 20s.

Blum did First Enchanter. Age doesn't matter.

It's funny that you say that because the Helpful Refugee is actually Vaughn's VA.

?? Blum also sounds 40s and it's easy to make a voice scratchy/ old-sounding. Not as easy to make it sound younger.Russalka wrote...

One of the devs just needs to come out and tell us how glorious Hawke sounds and then we'll know.

If Bramhill was revealed as Hawke's VA in this manner, I'd never be sad again.Addai67 wrote...

Really? Isn't Vaughan the frat-boy type whose throat you cut in Denerim?
I remember him as having a sort of whiny, nasal voice. Or maybe that was just how he looked.

I'm betting it's Cailan/Peter Bramhill which wouldn't be bad, I mean Cailan's voice was far less annoying than what he was actually saying.
The only annoying thing about Cailan was the hair.
And the attitude.
And the armor.
And that stupid god damn smile he'd get when excited.
And...

Just as long as it's not a tranquil voicing Hawke, it should be fine.
