Oh yeah. He was Wei's grand, smart-mouthed and possibly a tad overweight archer Xiahou Yuan and Wu's founder and father Sun Jian for a while. Then they practically swapped him out for Dynasty Warriors 6. Hopefully they bring him back for Dynasty Warriors 7.....  erhmmm! And of course Dragon Age 2!

I think blum could fit Varric's voice.  A not as gruff Blum but a Blum that rolls the Rrrrrs nice.

But seriously, though, the Boulton they're referring to is Nicholas Boulton, who did the voice of Vaughan Urien. He seems to be many people's favorite for voicing Hawke. After hearing Hawke speak at PAX, I am totally convinced it is him.

He's a good voice for Hawke, but thanks to a certain BioWare dev some of us have been hoping he'd voice a future love interest instead... oh well.

I haven't heard Hawke speak, but looking at versatility if it weren't for the fact that Zevran is pretty popular, I'd suspect it was his VA. Buuuuut since it has been stated that he voiced an unpopular character, I'm jumping on the Boulton boat.

Yes but no one was able to ID it. It's supposed to be sort of gruff and raspy but doesn't sound like Steve Blum. I haven't heard any of the voices myself, I just remember reading a few posts about it.

I would just love for Hawke to be voiced by Alan Carr. A truly commanding voice which would fit perfectly with the guy we're introduced to in the trailer

Pretty certain Mouse and Niall were voiced by the same man that voiced Jowan. I could be wrong, but there were certain inflections that seemed similar to me.

I'd prefer having that smooth-as-butter voice as an LI, not my hero.
