I am beyond convinced that it's Nicholas Boulton, but even if I am somehow wrong about that, I can absolutely guaran-damn-tee that it's not Desmond Askew. There's no way you can hear Askew's voice and not recognize it, and I most definitely did not hear Jowan. Who I heard was Vaughan.SleepySomnus wrote...

Although we can only be sure after we 've bought the game. At this point, I really doubt BioWare will tell us his VA before release <_<

And Simon Templeman is the best voice actor ever to live. Having him play Hawke would be 'dream come true' .
Otherwise my guess is - hmmm....."Rendon Howe"? Maybe? I don`t know his voice actor, he might be a bit 'old'.
Or the one who voiced that cultist leader guy in Sacred Ashes - he looks like King Leonidas from 300, and even act like that. That would fit for DA 2 - SPARTAAAAAAAAA!!!

But seriously, though, the Boulton they're referring to is Nicholas Boulton, who did the voice of Vaughan Urien. He seems to be many people's favorite for voicing Hawke. After hearing Hawke speak at PAX, I am totally convinced it is him.
Me too. Ten bucks says so. I went back and watched the DA:2 Dev Diary they released and compared it to another video of Vaughan. It's him.
I'm so PLEASED!

I'm thinking it could be Yuri Lowenthal who voiced the violent elf origin, Sandal, and Finn. From what I've seen of his previous works he can be sarcastic, sincere, and down right evil. As to whether or not his voice can fit the beard; That's up for debate.
You have got to be kidding me? Violent elf AND Sandal? Dang, and I thought I heard all his voice ranges in those JRPGs.

Robin Sachs has got a cool voice. His is one of the choices for the Warden as well, the 'experienced' one. Though now that he does Seneschal Varel I can't force myself to pick his voice for any subsequent playthroughs.
