Cam Clarke who voiced Herren, please oh please let hawke be voiced by him
It would be amusing to have Hawke voiced by Sky, no doubt.
Wait, Wait... Herren and Sky share the same voice actor... Yes, they do. I *KNEW* I knew Herren's voice from somewhere! Also, I just learned that him and Wade were a couple! HA! I KNEW IT!! I LOVE THEM!

What are the Free Marches modeled after that they have the same accent as Ferelden? There's no area where humans speak with "American" accents?Apollo Starflare wrote...
I'm secretly hoping Nathan Fillion had an uncredited role in DAO none of us are aware of. Sadly even that wouldn't help as DG said in another thread that to pay for Nathan Fillion to voice a character, only to make him put on a different voice (British for starters) would be completely daft.
I was going to say "you're missing out on some great voice actors playing potentially great characters, BioWare," but in reality, we all are missing out.

The Free Marches isn't far from Ferelden, it's not insane to imagine there would be strong similarities in culture and dialect.
I believe they have said Elves and Dwarves both speak with American accents?

they probably can't say if they were in awakening because there were only a few people in bothNvVanity wrote...
Unpopular character from Origins. Hmmm I can' think of many minor characters people hate. Cailan, Jowan, a few others. Hmmm.

Well, if they say that the VA did the stone prisoner we know for a fact it's Greg Ellis, since he seems like he did all the voices for that.

It always amuses me how people automatically think Peter Bramhill is only capable of some pansy voice because of the few Cailan lines you listened to before you started skipping over them. Go take a listen to his voice when Cousland tells him about his/her family's murder. His voice acting is incredibly versatile.Steingrimur Steingrimsson wrote...
Wait!? But he's got the beard! He cannot have Cailans voice or something that sounds like it, the beard demands a deep, dark and manly voice!
Dear God, I'm starting to sound like every other fangirl. This hurts me.

Besides, Tim Curry is very talented. And more known for villains that heros really. It could be interesting.

When people find out who the male PC is, I'm going to laugh-- he was in Origins, but his character wasn't very popular.
I'd be freaking right now if it hadn't been confirmed that Hawke was a native Brit.
Possibilities: Jory, Jowan, Daveth ...
I doubt it's Tim Curry. From what they've said about the volume of the script, I don't think they could afford someone that well-known for more than a featured supporting part like Flemeth or Howe.

If Cam Clarke does Herren, we need a scene where he yells snake. Absolutely need one. He's one of my favourite VAs, so I'd be even more hyped up about DA if he was our VO.

Anyone know of a video of that conversation? don't really want to start a new game just to hear 1 or 2 minutes worth of lines.

I'm actually near the end of the HN origin right now. I can record the lines and upload them, if you'd like.mione wrote...

Hawke is from Ferelden. So it does matter where he's from.

To tell you the truth, before I listened to those videos you linked on the 1st or 2nd page, the thought of Peter Bramhill as Male Hawke seemed like a very bad idea for me, but now, as I've found a few more vids with him, I'm all for him voicing Hawke [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/love.png[/smilie](even though I'll play Lady Hawke first
