As a sidenote, if you're a fan who doesn't care about seeing Marian Hawke, instead of degrading our nice thead, how about you go start your own thread about how you could care less about seeing her. Thanks.

There've been several threads of this nature. Fact of the matter is that they really won't amount to much. Just look at the ME series--they do their best to pretend there isn't even a gender choice.

How?

There is no default Hawkette; so if you just wanna see a possible female character then look at Bethany.

They already shown us some 15 different people from the game. The PC female model doesn't seem to be too much to ask.

Think of the fans BioWare. Especially me which, for some reason, in the last 3 games you made, I enjoyed more a female role over a male role. And since I am disgusted by the standard Hawke, I'd love to see standard... well, Hawke.

First playthrough is always the same for me; she'll look like my avatar and be a mage. Mostly self-serving and evil, though willing to do the "good" thing if it gets her further. Or if I can find some justification because I am awful at playing evil.



After that, I'll have to see. I have a more stoic, neutral character and a happy, cheerful character I don't mind playing. I just hope there's decent hair and face options. (Admittedly I've always found it easier to make a decent looking girl than a decent looking guy in Bioware's character creators.)

You're going to make your Hawke look like your warden?  You do know they're seperate characters right?

*Sigh* like a child who keeps asking for ice cream, eventually the parent won't even want to give it to the child because they are so annoying. It's Bioware's choice on how they want to advertise their product if they want to show Fem Hawke they will.

My first character will be female, Reina Hawke. She'll be someone who helps out as often as she can, kills anyone who annoys her - like nicking her chocolate, that offence is punishable by death - and generally just does what she can.



I'm not sure what class I'll go for yet, and since I know little of the story beyond what's been told, then some things won't be decided till I'm playing.

Does it make a difference? I mean, you can customize her to look like anything you want. Unless, of course, there's a default female.
