I would like Kate Beckinsale! I like her voice:)TeenZombie wrote...
So there's been plenty of speculation about male Hawke voice actors, who would you like to portray female Hawke? Personally, my choice was Grey Delisle, but David Gaider said that they're using native British actors for the VAs. I wonder if Lady Hawke's voice actress was in DA:O, the way the male actor was, or perhaps Mass Effect 2?

Bioware do have a habit of re-using VA's, but sadly not every time. At the moment I think there are just too many people it could be, it seems likely they are at most a famous voice actress and not a famous screen actress (who would presumably cost a lot of money to hire) so ambitious theories like we saw for Garrett early on would seem out. But even then there are a lot of great female voice actresses out there to choose from. Maybe if we ask really nicely David Gaider will give us Lady Hawke fans a clue as well?

You have to right click on the link if it's highlighted and press "remove link." Then it should work.Verona_Giovanni wrote...

...Which I will get to you guys tomorrow, since I'm supposed to be watching Benjamin Button right now, and not hunching at my monitor messing with Etain Hawke banners! Oops?
Tell me about it, I'm supposed to be doing some work but this is far too much fun. :innocent:

Back on topic, I do prefer playing as females, especially with RPGs, so I hope at least the default will be beautiful, not hot.

Partially related, but will they actually have different-sized breasts in DA2? One of the strange things that I kept on noticing was that virtually every single female in the game had the same breasts, even the older ones.

This came up in another thread. Sadly it doesn't look likely, people were pointing out Bethany, Aveline and even the mother's breasts were all the same size. It makes sense, it goes with what Mike Laidlaw was saying in the 'customise our bodies' thread: the more different shapes of body they have to design armor for the longer it takes to do or they have to make less armor etc.
I'll find a link to the thread, it'll have a clearer answer I imagine.

Oh well, that was what was going through my mind as I was asking the question. Not to toot my own horn, but I always seemed to be able to create more attractive female characters than male characters. They would show up on my profile, but sadly, I have yet to finish a playthrough except with one of the default skins.

Here is the link I mentioned, well the dev quotes in that thread anyway.
I'm the same incidentally, always find myself happier with my female characters than my male ones. Havn't managed to finish a playthrough as a male warden yet, lol.

Erm... That is not female Hawke, just so you know. Or did you think developers decided to actually implement all those selfcest jokes on the forum in the trailer? Not that it would be a bad thing... did i just say that? ¬_¬
Oh how you wound me.
On the other hand (and steering back to the topic (were we even off topic? (lol))), I would very much appreciate at least an indirect glance at what fem!Hawke might look like. I figure we'll see her sooner than we think if some gaming website just happens to show the complete demo from gamescom (a blurry low res shot of fem!hawke is a shot none the less).
