Not necesarily.  In geological terms a few milenia from now is very soon

That is true, however I highly doubt Bioware operates on geological time. For a start, they wouldn't be a very successful game company if their definition of a short development cycle was something akin to the the length of the Cambrian era.

Why has this thread turned into a quest to change the default name of the character?  One out of every hundred thousand Hawkette's will use the default anyways.

Instead, we should be presenting a united call for FemHawke pics on 9/8... six months before the game comes out.  It's a landmark!  You know they have some sort of milestone planned for that day.  If we all rabble rabble together, we can get six FemHawke shorts for the six month pre-anniversary.

I think this is a great idea, not just because I had it, but because it gives marketing time to get everything approved.
