OP just wants trolls, haters and people with no contructive or meaningful arguments to stop polluting her thread. Like the last Female Hawke topic.

I am sure she's okay with people voicing their opinions. But when some random John Doe walks in and says "lulz never female sucks. go back to kitchen/get on my horse imho", then what are you expecting? Surely not a pat on the back.

Well, in all fairness there's cultured debate about a particular point of view (for example the value or lack of value in portraying Fem!Hawke in DA2's marketting campaign, but there's also trying to argue with someone who is adamantly arguing that you aren't a real person. The latter isn't very condusive and tends to lead to defensive behaviour.

Also, this thread is pretty-much a petition for the appearance of Fem!Hawke in screens/trailers/etcetera. You generally don't ask people to sign a petition if they don't support what it's about.

I'm not a moron, I know it's not happening, what's done is done. It's not like they are going to go back and re-make the trailer. They didn't think it was worth the budget to do it for DAO either, but that doesn't mean that I am not going to voice my opinion. How else will Bioware and EA know that there is a demographic that wants to see female protagonists and furthermore, will, in fact buy good games with a female hero.

  I could not agree with you more. As I have said thousands of time; Ladies are several times more awesome than us guys. Bioware is listening though. One of the devs said the will release pictures of LadyHawke soon In the live chat it was said again. Also, Mike stated that the customization options for her are really good. The question was if she would have prettier outfits and longer hair and Mike pretty much said yes? Actually he DID say yes for the outfits.

Yeah, to be fair to namedforthemoon there have been some serious trolling attempts of fem!hawke threads in the past, with at least one I know of getting completely derailed and locked. I'd hardly call it idiotic, even if it is a bit blunt. It's not like we don't welcome other opinions in the thread, just some of the mindless complaining seen on the forums is hardly constructive.

My opinion is that kind of crap really just needs to be reported and ignored. People get too much enjoyment out of seeing people freak out to care that what they are saying is just really screwed up. Even if they don't actually believe what they are saying.

Just want to see what name people prefer, because we're partial to Etain (some of us, that is) over Marian. But we're not in the slightest asking Bioware to change the name of Lady Hawke.
