At least sexism isn't like it was not that long ago with women always in the kitchen making sammiches for men, Or sometimes other women.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean sexism no longer exists and there's no room for any improvement.

Same goes for other forms of bigotry (for example, racism in America didn't come to an end in 1964).

I think it's unfair to assume that Bioware is being sexist...

Yeah, I didn't.  In fact I more or less praised BioWare in another thread for actually listening to us and, in general, taking us seriously.

By the way, I'm having fun checking out the fan art.  Needless to say, my favorites probably are the pics where Lady Hawke is a mage.Posted Image

Aimo's art added to the OP with her permission. And also Okiness' art, too!

I know, just some other people I've seen.

So I take it there isn't a way to get a non-artificially enlarged version of the gif?

This is the image I'll be trying to recreate for my version of the female Hawke - Reina Watt/Beaumont - Any other information you see there, well it requires an open mind and explains a lot about me.

Anyway, that's who I would be trying to recreate.

I've been trying to make an animated banner out of the given one, but it always comes out terribly...I'm pretty sure Calla owns the DVD, so that's why she was able to get it to us.

I could make one like the one in the Garrett Thread.

I'd just rather want a bigger gif to work with.

Ok, I don't know if this is the subject being discussed here, but anyway, concerning the poll, I really prefer Marian over Etain. Marian has a real classy feeling on it :P And Etain sounds very... male lol :-/ whatever

Just my 2 cents :D

Whether a name is regarded as male or female seems to be very much a cultural thing.

Personally I think "Etain" is beautiful, I just don't see it as being better than "Marian" as far as default names go.
