It's just a phrase we use to talk about guys who play girl characters because they went, "Well, if I'm going to play this character for this long and for this many levels and watch them from behind, then it might as well be a chick!"

I don't know if girls playing guys have a special name for them (most girls I know, including myself, play girl characters if given the choice), so I just call them a "wonis" if it makes you feel better.

I mostly play female characters, though I will occasionally play as a male (when there's a choice, obviously).  To be honest, there's no personal justification behind that beyond the desire to play a male character.

Ok thanks for the pronunciation help Guess I should put more enphasis on the "i" then. Starts sounding better already Still like Marian over it though. Guess it can be weird to people who live in countries where that's male, but for me sounds beautiful lol Can't imagine a man named Marian though xD (soz if someone is one)

I voted for Etain purely because I'm a fanboy over the name, character, and actress. I actually really like Marian for Lady Hawke as well. I see nothing wrong with Robin Hood comparisons, I even love the latest RH film.

Also, I didn't see Centurion or what's that film Etain is from. I guess it's a cool movie then?

I'm surprised there's such an outcry for Bioware's preset "Lady Hawke." In a way I almost wish "Garrett" Hawke hadn't been made so iconic, since in the back of my mind it will be kind of hard to steer away from their vision of him (even if it's not officially canon).

There is some amazing art here!  I don't think I've seen one bad Lady Hawke pic yet.   She's strong, she's brave, she's got that certain look, that confidence.  Everyone is doing such a great job capturing that.

At the moment I can only repurpose some of my old unfinished work, since I no longer have a tablet for the time being, so I cropped a portrait from the original 1797x1170 psd.
