I tend to go with Rogues, first, then Mages. I like being able to unlock doors and chests, and steal from people, lol. Too bad there isn't an unlock spell for mages, though.

Oh God yes! First play through for sure. My first in Origins was a mage too. I've never seen a game do magic better than DA.

Definitely going for the rogue first. I already have a basic idea for her, and should Varric be romanceable (*CROSSES FINGERS*) she's going to be his. Definitely going to be his. After that, it's my mage. And then my two-handed warrior woman.

On the other hand, apostate sisters! Does it get cooler than that?

as far as playing a female hawke, the first one will definitely be a sorceress... coy, and unassuming, but secretly seductive, as seen in my first fanart...

second is the just warrior who is a romantic and will find her soulmate... i have not drawn her, there are enough female hawke fanart to base her off of that i don't think it's necessary...

last is the rogue, loner, sneaker (like she's doing in my second fanart), not very social, but will secretly be varric's stalker...

Nope.

I plan to play a rogue on my second playthrough myself, a red-headed girl named Zira. I was originally going to choose a female warrior as my first, but the idea of apostate sisters was just too tempting for me to resist, and so I have decided that shall be my first playthrough. Just imagine all of the interesting interactions between characters! Would the parents view Carver as the "favorite" because he is a warrior and the two daughters are both mages? Will there be more conflict with templar and chantry characters of your character is a mage? Will Flemeth attempt to take you under her wing and teach you a new trick or two? The very thought of it makes me giddy!

I will be a two-handed warrior first... or maybe sword and board. And I will be female. And I will kick ass. I like to either be the Tank (before I knew about Alistair) or a hard hitter. But, what I will be for my 'main' (the one I luv the best) will actually come out depending on what my companions are during the game. So I wont really know until I'm done with my Achievement runs through... > >;

Here you go, ladies. Rather disappointed that I had to use artificial means to increase the gif's size (leading to some pixels and slowdown) but it overall came pretty decent. Done with namedforthemoon (for trying to find a proper name at the end) using Calla's gif.

Trial run, give me your thoughts. I've got a few fixes in mind.

I'm pretty sure my first Hawke will be a female dual-wielding rogue, since that's pretty much my favourite class type. After that we'll see, but as long as the game is worth replaying, I'll play a female mage and a warrior as well. I'd love to get my hands on a character creator for DA2! I think I made somewhere between 10-20 characters on the one for Origins, and many of those actually ended up in the game as well.

Seeing "Lady Hawke" keeps taking my mind back to the movie of the same name. I'll stick with Marion.

I mean, it was a decent movie and all, but it's r-e-a-l-l-y old now.
