Except me no likey the one with her protecting Varric. I'm waiting to see who else is out there for Lady Hawke besides Varric (if Varric is even a possibility), because I have a height thing. I have to be the shorter one in the relationship, always. Even if it's by less then a milimeter. Then I can tell my taller half to get everything down because they're the taller one. And being a human... well, there's no way the dwarf will outsize me.

and ..*eye twitching* ..just can't be with a man who's shorter ten me...

Aw, that sucks. I'm 5'3 1/2'' so most guys are taller then me by a bit...

But the dwarf will STILL be shorter then me (or at least, my character)

Yeah, I only drew my version down to her knees, so I'll have to make a full length version for that.  I was up till 5 am last night on this, so I'm taking a break today and I'll look at it again on Monday with fresh eyes.  It was just a lark, anyway, I'd like to give her a proper background eventually.

I like Marian's name, although I'm not really feeling Bethany or especially Carver...but I won't get too attached to my family, despite what Mr. Gaider said. It would have been nice to have continued the tradition of names like Moira, Fiona, Fergus or Alistair, for characters born in Ferelden.

Aw, I'm rather fond of Marian. It has a medievally feel to it. I too have flashes of Robin Hood though, I guess we can reverse the gender roles and have Marian rescue dear, sweet, innocent Rob.

Well, Marian is a male name in certain parts of the world. :x

They could've taken a clearly feminine name.
