It will be nice to see her when she appears, hopefully she won't be the scantily clad kind of appearance.

No more scantily clad than the armors in origins. We don't reall go in for the chainmail bikini 'round here.

Wow.. that sucks, Bioware is dumbing down DA2 No chainmail bikinis! is this for the casual Console gamer huh?
I am not buying this game now :(

You're...trolling...right? Right?

Regardless, I don't see a whole lot of people complaining about the lack of chainmail bikinis in DAO, and I'm glad that we're not going to see them in DA2.

Yay for respectable female warriors!

Now, if only the mages didn't leave their jumblies out...

I'm sure mods for chain bikinis and playboy cover hot will come out as soon as the toolset is released.

For now I'm happy to hear that we will be seeing Marian Hawke before the game comes out.

If female Hawke is even approaching the hotness of male Hawke, this is going to be one sexy game. I'm just saying. (Equal opportunity objectification, go!)

As much as I'd like to see female Hawke I will create my own version of her anyway. Once you've mastered Saints Row 2 character creator you can do anything with Dragon Age one.

I'm yet to see a beautiful default female character. I mean, look at default female Shepards. They explain why there are so many gays in the future. And why Wrex is considered attractive.

Also, who's actually in charge of cortex bombs detonation? EA boss?

hmmm I was hoping she would look something me like this

No fairy tales here! Shes powerful, dominant and will cut any man who get in her way! Still probably to much flesh but even if she was covered up more that image purveys an attitude I would love for her!

No, I am joking, there's a huge difference.

Since I always have at least one female character in RPG's where it's an option ( because of the Joss Whedon theory of Women who Kick Ass) I want to see LadyHawke as well. Sooner rather than later please :).

I'm sorry! Some people say these things without irony, and without a little emote or something, it's hard--for me, particularly--to tell. Again, I apologize!

Is there any chance of getting a description of what she looks like? Face, hair etc? Or what type of voice she has? I know it's unimportant scraps, but I'm still kinda curious and figure it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Looks more like a bad case of "You stole my chocolate!  Die foul fiend, die!"

I hope we'll get some better hair styles for the female main lead this time, some of the hair styles were a bit awkward looking at times.

Is the reveal of feamle Hawke going to be a big event? If not I can't see why you would need to a timeline for it. Seems rather silly.

Remind me never to steal your chocolate then

But your right with the hairstyles, they always seem to be a let down on the majority of RPGs I have played

It's strange some females in this forum advocate for a non "playboy cover hot" Hawke while their avatars portray faces I would call "playboy cover" worthy.

I guess our beauty ideal isn't so different

Knowing this forum it would be more likely to happen if someone stole the Nutella.

I don't think they hate playboy cover girls intrinsically- they just hate the makeup, the style, and the lack of clothes :)

I'm intrigued to see what design they come up with. The male Hawke was a bit 'bleh' compared to the warden imo.

Well, I'm curious concerning female Hawke's voice, but I don't really care about the way she looks, since I always make custom faces for my characters. So I won't hold my breath here.

Mostly the lack of clothes, and the idea that so much bare skin will be turned black from frostbite in the Frostback mountains, or how easily a sword or arrow could get a kill shot.
