First example I can think of would be;
And that's the main characters sister. I'm hoping DA2 won't go the same way with Hawke's.
Oh come on, she looks like she could totally take on 200 darkspawn dressed like that with out getting a scratch on her with that impressive chest plate

Hahaha yeah Hugh Jackman somehow manages to come out of that film just as sexual as ever. The beast.

Thanks
for the run down Aratham, well written and informative just how I like
it. If you havn't already you might want to go and post your impressions
of Lady Hawke over in the Lady Hawke thread! It would certainly go down
very well if you can tell us anything about how she looks.
I
would love to be more helpful, but I have difficulty coming up with a
description other than "short black hair". She only appears in a
KotOR-like lineup at the class selection screen, so there was no way to
get a close-up of her face. I'm left with more an impression than
detailed memories.
He was the forumite who got a look at her on the CC screen and previously posted this:

All of the character customization options were sadly grayed out, but I
did get a look at the default Lady Hawke. She’s so close to what I had
in mind that I might not touch the face customization on my first
playthrough.
Sounds pretty good to me! Even if it is just one posters opinion. :happy: So what do we think about Lady Hawke having short black hair by default? It makes sense that they would go with something similar to Garrett, but I do wonder what style of short hair it is.

Make her Marian Hawke McTavish so the console shooter crowd joins too.

I tend to like longer hair on my women so I will be looking for a longer hair style for my L'Hawke. Default male Hawke looks pretty good to me but I don't want a version of him minus a beard as a female to play

Lady Hawke's don't need beards to be awesome anyway, it just comes naturally to them.

To get the default female Hawke (as I remember her), take Aimo's boxart mock-up, make the face a little narrower, turn the hair jet black like Garrett's, reduce it in volume a bit and give it a more downward angle. The hair on this drawing by Ruse looks closer in style. Of course, I might just be misremembering everything beyond "short black hair".
Also, I guess it might help to clarify that when I said "close to what I had in mind", what I had in mind was a slightly crazy, smartass rogue. Honestly, the first phrase that came to mind when trying to descibe Fem!Hawke was "goth chick", but that's a very specific stereotype that's not really an accurate description of her overall.

:3
I took an art class in high school. What were some things I learned? No eraser marks? Whoops :3. Put something between your hand and the paper so you don't smear the lead? :3. Something about smudging a pencil mark to make a shadow? Nope, didn't bother doing that.
Although, I tried to clone stamp some of the more egregious eraser marks away-- is it obvious?
Mph. In any case, I think it's safe to say, anything I learned in that class, has since been eaten by the little pac man that roams around my brain, chomping up all of the tidbits of high school knowledge that I never used outside of high school.

@HagSpawn - I agree, I prefer long haired characters but found Origins sadly lacking in that area. Hopefully they have made improvements in 2!

I notice you play on console. If you ever happen to buy it for PC there is some awesome mods to cusomize your characters more like hair ect

That's a fine impression of your L'Hawke
And I totaly know what you mean about smudge marks! I'm a lefty so everything from writing to sketching gets smudged lol

We will show her eventually. I don't have a firm timeline, but we well.
And she is -hot-.
Excellent news.....
@namedforthemoon.....
I wouldn't mind her looking like your forum avatar.....she is "hot"....
I'll add my 2 cents in on the badass over sexy commentary. I was immediately "wow"ed by Mhairi at the beginning of Awakenings, and not because i thought she was sexy(that came after)...but just an incredibly tough, in your face, and get it done kinda woman. I will admit that was a major attraction right off the bat.
It reminds me of why i bought Tomb Raider. An awesome body is wonderful, but it was her attitude that sold it. I think Bioware is trying to make sure she sells properly, instead of hormone enraging some males and females just because she's "hot". At least i hope that's what they are doing.
For me she will have long red hair......like most of my DA:O girls have had. Hopefully there will be an option for longer hair then that though on the PS3 version^_^.

If they took notice of the kind of mods people are grabbing they would see people wanting more long styles.
Yeah, sadly my pc cannot yet run DA.
@Filaminstrel: it looks great, I like how she seems to be in motion almost. Thanks for sharing!
@Aratham: Awesome, thanks for taking the time to tell us what you remember. I'm liking the sound of her already, long hair or no it sounds like she is quite unique looking and anything that draws comparison with Aimo's art has to be good.

Thanks for that suggestion Anarya =D, the dark hair make the picture stronger looking, instead of just a bunch of loose line on her head, now it has some volume.
@TheSquadette
kewl thanks, she looked like a he/she earlier, kept adjusting until she looked properly female. I'm so happy to get compliment!!
