To get the default female Hawke (as I remember her), take Aimo's boxart mock-up, make the face a little narrower, turn the hair jet black like Garrett's, reduce it in volume a bit and give it a more downward angle. The hair on this drawing by Ruse looks closer in style. Of course, I might just be misremembering everything beyond "short black hair".

Also, I guess it might help to clarify that when I said "close to what I had in mind", what I had in mind was a slightly crazy, smartass rogue. Honestly, the first phrase that came to mind when trying to descibe Fem!Hawke was "goth chick", but that's a very specific stereotype that's not really an accurate description of her overall.

No, she has the same skin tone as Garrett. The two Hawkes look much more alike than, say, the default Shepards. Like brother and sister, really.

No, she has the same skin tone as Garrett. The two Hawkes look much more alike than, say, the default Shepards. Like brother and sister, really.

Jack is cocky, crazy and possibly a bit suicidal. She probably depends on her biotics to defend herself but I don't think she cares all that much for her personal safety.

Besides biotics are kind of like mages anyway. Armor isn't really a big concern.

what about jacob and thane then?? what those guys are wearing doesn't look like it protects either... and if jacks a biotic couldn't she be more effective wearing armor considering how much she can take without???

Until I see the default Lady Hawke, I won't know if I will keep her or customize. If she fits my RPG whimsy of the day, then I'll keep her. However, I almost never take a preset face.

well, i can only say youre wrong. theres a simple and obvious reason: jack and miranda are using an old trick to confuse the enemy: by showing as much as the youthprotection allows they are trying to distract the mostly male enemys, giving M+J (i like that namecombo and i have no idea why) the time to shoot their enemys. thane and jacob just think they look cool in their outfits (even if they dont). and -heck- why live if you can die cool:police:?

Jacob has Miranda style armor. Thane would not wear heavy armor since he is the assassin type and it would make it harder for him to sneak arround. Jack trusts her powers too much by what her dialogue shown.
