It definately is. I think your concept of LadyHawke, though simple is outstanding. I didn't like the other concepts of LadyHawke with long hair because personally i prefer shorter hair like that and feel that a warrior shouldn't have ridiculous long hair.

I'm very biased towards short hair. I've always had short hair myself, plus I wanted her to look as much like Garrett as possible while still being an attractive woman. I could have gone shorter but I like the Motoko Kusanagi (from Ghost in the Shell) type of hairstyle.

Mmmm, but quite honestly that drawing of LadyHawke is attractive enough in my opinion. Thats why i always found the default Femshep hair attractive, you see i like short hair and i think somewhere here someone mentioned they caught a glimpse of LadyHawke and described her as having "short hair".

I just hope its not THAT kind of short where she looks like a butch.

To get slightly back on topic, I would also like to add my vote for more promo images of Lady Hawke! Even a doodle from the art team at Bioware would probably be welcome at this point.

And here's a nifty idea: Make the cover-slip on the game box reversible so one side has man!Hawke and the other side has fem!Hawke.

Yeah I'd love to see even a tiny doodle of Ms. Hawke. I love looking at concept art anyway. I wonder if any of the fan artists has gotten close to what she looks like. I keep saying it, but there's a ton of talent around here.

Well I mean, I doubt they're secretly feeding her advance knowledge of female Hawke so she can make fanart so I don't know why hers would be more accurate on principle. But since someone who'd played the demo said hers was pretty close you're probably right.

I've been looking over the race concept art again and I've had a sudden thought. Hawke's advertised look is the blood(nutella) smeared nose and such, yet could it possibly be that FemHawke's model is different than the blood nose?



I mean the concept art's human face doesn't fit the rest of the concept art, it obviously was cropped onto it from another piece of art. Could this head be the FemHawke with the chin-tattoo being the unique trait?

I had wondered about the maori chin tattoo, myself. I thought maybe our Lady Hawke would have that in the default version since it was depicted, but it almost seems too permanently distinctive. I think a streak of blood is good, because it can be washed off.

It was interesting, I remember one of the surfacer castless dwarves had mentioned to my Brosca that they used washable ink for their brand tattoo... That way on the surface they didn't stick out so much.

Can someone explain this obsessive need to see the default F!Hawke face?  Do you guys think Bioware is lying when they say you can play as a female? 
I mean everyone is going to customize their own characters so why is this such a huge deal?

They've done a good enough job with Male Hawke that a lot of people are considering to play him, though. Both genders, too!
