Which is quite a requirement for being a badass. Look at the most badass characters ever, the heroes in BORDERLANDS. If you don´t consider them as mentally disturbed retards I don´t get you.....

The only possible justification I see for this is the bureaucracy lag between the marketing and design departments, otherwise this starts coming off as some kind of oversight, something that now has been brought to the dev's attention, now making it seem as some kind of petty sexist whim of a few designers. I hope that's not the case, but seriously, wtf? There are photos galore of male hawke, how's female hawke any different that you need to keep the photos under lock and key?

Obviously it's because she's too awesomely badass to be let free all willy-nilly. What other reason could there possibly be?

Dunno about being the worst game ever but lootgrinding =/= RPG.
Also, you want badass characters? Look no further than the crew of Firefly. Talking about Firefly; I'd go crazy if anyone from the main cast were voicing characters in DA2. Especially if it would be Jewel Staite, Summer Glau, or Adam Baldwin.

Going back to the voice thing quickly: the Lady of the Forest was my favorite female voice in-game, with Morrigan a close second. I just loved how ethereal she sounded. (almost made me side with the Werewolves just to have her stick around) If her VA could do a badass Lady Hawke for us, I'd love to see it.

In other news, Lady Hawke is a YES PLEASE. Not that I doubt she exists, I just want to see how busty the development team thinks she should be. I kid. I want to see her... because it'd be nice.

 I guess I'm in the minority, but I never really utilize the relationship aspects of BioWare games; they always just seem silly to me because you only really get to see your companions in these little cut-scenes where it's you and them talking in camp.  I mean, sure, Morrigan will chime in with some pithy dialog condemning your goodly actions, but that's hardly relationship building.

I mean, sure, I romanced Leliana for her cunning bonus (is that what the kids are calling it these days? ) but that's about it.

I romanced Alistair so I could be a Queen.   *I'm a user, ain't it grand?*

I still remember ME 1 how I almost ended up in a relationship with Liara just because I was being nice to her. We talk, then suddenly "I like you Shepard." Ya well ... I don't like you, never visitng your corner again. It threw me off.

So yes, I know what you mean.
