oh crap that's right, they make separate models of the armors :/ I wonder why...there has to be an easier way like other games do it...but I'm not a programmer so I don't know.

I hope they made lady Hawke with the aim of pleasing those who want to role play as her and not those who just play as a female for eye candy...

Either way, everybody wants to see a believable character.

Thank ye Yellow Words, Celticon, HagSpawn - I'm glad I asked here, I was fantasizing about the large sized Intuos 4 to be honest, its good to know I don't need to spend as much as I thought to get good end results :)

As for Bethany, hoho, like how in MGS, Snake can use dirty magazines to distract guards, Bethany can totally jiggle her jelly to do the same, while fighting even.

Which is, to say the least, bollocks. The slightly less succesfull MMO Age of Conan manages variying body sizes just fine. =]

If i'm not mistaken AoC does the body "scaling" by altering the size of individual bones of character skeleton. DAO for whatever reason(s) doesn't utilize that so it'd require modifications to the game engine.

Who knows, maybe they actually added it while reworking things to allow separate righs per gender and such. Guess we'll see.

Depends on how long you were offline. So far we have confirmation that we'll see Lady Hawke "very soon", and a description from a forumite calls her a female Garrett, sort of wild and roguish looking. Mike Laidlaw thinks she's smokin'.

Pax is about a week away; I would say that would be a good bet for some info on many things, FemHawke among them.

I never get to go to these things, so it's slightly less exciting. :(

I hope we'll get more customization options for a female Hawke than that @ Bethany.on the screenshot

Thought I'd just add to the discussion on Wacom tablets. They are a fantastic piece of equipment that once bought you will not regret. I had an Intuos 2 for 7 years and the thing is still kicking, and believe me, it's had a rough life. I actually decided to retire the poor thing after so many years. I now own a Cintiq 12WX. Owning a Cintiq has been my dream ever since learning about Wacom (came very close to convincing my mother to buy me one of them instead when I was 13 :P ) It is amazing; however, it would bloody wanna be for $1,500AUD!!!

I can't stress this enough though. DO NOT get an Intuos 4. That thing has some serious design problems. There is nothing wrong with the 3. I really do not see what the advantage is of having twice the amount of pressure levels. You cannot tell the difference.

Anyway, that's my two cents worth.

On the new screenshot. Woo! Boobies! (Come on, it is a FANTASY after all) :o

The hair is looking a lot nicer in these new shots and Bethany's armour is rad.

Her shoulders. Something wrong with em'.

Hopefully, the Lady will get something better(and not necessarily with an absurd cleavage, uh).

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Male Hawke is actually pretty hot. Why did I not notice that before, I wonder? ...Oh yeah, because I hadn't seen that particular screenshot before. Hmm, he's starting to grow on me.

Ugh, whyyyy. If Lady Hawke looks like that... ehh. Seriously, she looks like she should go work at Victoria's Secret. Sorry if I want a character to look like they can actually lift their weapon, and won't have massive back pain every 5 minutes. Please let this not be the default female model for all characters.

I'm hoping that Aveline is more the build for female characters. She's got a really nice athletic, "might be accustomed to chopping wood all day long" kind of build.

If they do go for the unavoidable cleavage for Lady Hawke, then if I were to choose, I'd pick something like this;

Yeah, it's still there, but at this point; I don't think we'll ever be dodging it entirely. But it's not the heaving bosom that has apparently been assigned for Bethany.

On a unrelated note; patterning Lady Hawke's face after Bridget Regan would make me a very happy man. Posted Image I'd probably switch to playing as her for the first run through.

Yeah i was the same...i ALWAYS play as a fem first when i have the chance to. Then i saw the trailer and thought "Heck, he won't look like that in game", then i see this screenshot :o Now i badly want to play as a male. I will play with him as a rogue, and with her as a mage

And i don't even like beards that much <_<

The only problem with Bethany is her neck which again has a severe case of giraffiatis.

What is your problem with neck BioWare???

Her neck is like that of any other female in the game. It's just the bottom triangle of the scarf thing that makes it appear much longer than it actually is. It's not like her neck starts half way past the collar bones like the cloth implies.

I think it’s just the angle, but her shoulders look too angular and not round enough. Looking at the pic below, her shoulders are much smoother, more realistic.
