I cut this out for someone in Anarya's boobs! thread when they said they thought her breasts looked average. Ha. No. Look at that waist!

Looking at the "bust" you cut out Saibh i think it's the fault of the waist too. I still think they are a tad too big, mostly for a warrior/rogue, but when you are damn skinny the boobs appear even darn bigger.
If they want to keep that waist i think this size of boobs will be more fitting.

Am I the only one who finds the above picture pretty disgusting?

I would still say there's something wrong with her proportions...her neck is very sideways from her shoulders. Her hair looks very stiff, and it was a poor choice to give her a style that has two thick symmetrical locks coming out. Not to mention the permawave she has. Hopefully it looks better in motion.

It's called a bodice. Clear example of squeeze and push. Simply laws of physics.

Two things:
FOUR THINGS:
1) That looks like no bodice (a bodice with a corset, mind you, since otherwise that's just the top part of the dress) I've ever seen. It's just chainmail dangling from her body. I cut it off from just above her belt, but it keeps going. Look at the original picture.
2) Her mother is wearing a corset-less dress from the first game and has the same figure.
3) Corsets do not add girth to the breasts. They squeeze up and push and give you the appearance of larger breasts that are shaplier, but, when viewed from the side--and go take a gander at the Kate Beckinsale pics--do not add a lot to the profile, simply because there's not a lot to be added. It wouldn't give her that much unless it was already there.
4) Wearing those things also does not make them round watermelons. That's the shape you get when they're being held in a bra or unbound, not pushed up by a corset. By my eye, they're not shaped as if she's wearing something very restricting around them.

You've put way too much tought into this.
I doubt BioWare have a science department researching the exact affects of corsets, bodices and medieval bras on breasts. Although I suppose it would be a good job to have.

Some people want their heroines and sisters to look like they can actually fight in a battle without back problems. You know large breasts make it difficult to do a lot of things, right? Including wield a sword? They get in the way. They also hurt when you run and they aren't tied the hell down. If it's just Bethany, whatever, but her mother has the same figure and we've had word from BioWare previously they don't want to do too many different models for characters.
My Lady Hawke doesn't need to look like a Playboy model.
Personally, I think whenever a guy brings up "Oh, girls, you all just feel inadequete" they're trying to draw attention away from the fact that they'd like to stare at their sister's breasts all day. If you're going to come to this thread, try to be polite to the girls.

And you just don't like to be wrong. She's not wearing a corset. I didn't need to research anything--you may not realize this, but, as girl, I am aware of girly things. Oh, and "laws of boob physics" and all that jazz. What, you think I have a science department researching this? Evidently our discussion from right above your first reply went unnoticed by you, and I was just repeating back what I and others found.Heavenblade wrote...

I hate the glamour models they use for video game leads but from what I hear this game is supposed to be someone's story. So it makes sense to go with the glamour look for all the characters since it isn't supposed to be realistic anyway.
