I don't think they should be Bethany's size if you're muscular like that, but for a bigger woman, bigger breasts are allowed. It at least looks less ridiculous.

Keep in mind, please, that Bethany still must be athletic enough to run all day country to country. And that, in the first game, mages could at least pick up a light sword and wield it.

"Explaining her decision to fans, who petitioned in an attempt to get her to reconsider, she said: 'It’s the weight that troubles me. My ability to react quickly, my breasts make me uncomfortable when I play. I don’t like them in my everyday life, either. I would have gone for surgery even if I hadn’t been a sportswoman."

Can there occasionally be a slim woman with big natural breasts? Sure. But when you have a game which forces the same body type on everyone, picking such unordinary shape is rather silly.

I dont mind boobs nor do I care about their size. The only problem with Bioware's female model is that they make huge, hideous and unrealistic boobs that is an eyesore to behold for 100 hours. They are so freaking hideous that I think of them as cancer - mutated meat lumps >.<"

I think you're still missing the small catch which is the relationship in size between the breasts, body overall and the amount of muscles to power the whole thing. I don't think there'd be much complaints about Bethany's chest if she actually had body shape of Serena Williams

I do not support one size for all!  I have said I want proper customisation like that Aion game.  BioWare big studio.  Big budget.  Make it happen.

Look at this picture with male Hawke. See how much muscle he has? If i look at him i can say "Yeah he can wield a weapon and kill something".







If i look at Bethany's character model (which will be on a rogue/warrior fem as well) i don't see her killing anything with that fragile body and big boobs...

Not very rare at all.  I see plenty of slim women with ample breasts everyday (not that I'm looking!).  Breasts are fat. Proper exercise in the right areas, good diet, lots of milk and cheese can give ample size breats with slim figure.  Bodies can be moulded without need to afront mother nature with surgery.

Not specifically support per se, but i think the larger bust would be rather naturally easier to accept/gloss over as something normal on a shape that's bigger overall. Note, i'm thinking rather the size like Serena Williams was on that picture which still seems quite a bit smaller than what Bethany is sporting.. There's also extra factor -- if the heavier built woman plays role of warrior in game she's likely to wear heavier armour which can do quite a bit to silhouette and take focus from the breasts (unless they're some truly ridiculous size)  It's mainly on the cloth wearers that it can easily wind up looking plain odd.

Also, regarding mages and their physical workout... they still do carry large staves and wave them around quite a bit. It's not heavy training but it is some. Plus Bethany may be a mage but she's also peasant from Lothering if i'm not mistaken? Peasants don't tend to crops and animals just by snapping fingers, she very likely worked hard, daily.

More than likely women will have the same character model as Bethany--we're talking about what are female Hawke will look like.

They've already told us no sliders.

kidding. But I have seen people at the gym with really big breasts (and not necessarily a hulking body to match, although they were athletic obviously). Maybe it's a hindrance or whatever, but somehow they seem to manage.

We just went over how a woman with breasts the size or slightly smaller than Bethany's had to get breast reduction surgery because they were causing her problems. This is for a woman who plays tennis, which is not the most athletic sport in the world. She mentioned how she would have done it anyway, because in every day life they gave her problems.

In any case, if it were just Bethany, or if there were multiple character models, I'd still think it looked ridiculous, but I'd say it was fine. More than likely, though, this is the only model we'll have, so that character model needs to be able to wield two-handed swords and sprint in plate armor.

You know, I'm going to pull the "you're a guy, so you don't know" card again. As a girl, I can tell you I know plenty of ways of getting another cup or so out of my clothes and bras without stuffing. Most other girls learn tricks as well.
