And if the crowd of the average male gamer stays true to form --this being the same crowd whose Shepards stayed loyal to Liara in ME2 due to the fact that they couldn't "lez it up" with Tali-- we can expect a horde of blonde, female Hawkes with bee stung lips running about with basketball boobs.

Yes, I am cynical about this subject.

this is something women always resort to in arguments such as these, stereotypical feminist bull****.

That's funny. Indigo's a guy.

Yeah, I know, those feminist women, they just suck, sexist harpies. :wizard:

Which makes it even worse I suppose, depends on how you look at it. But's it's always about the demographic of horny teenagers that every game company apparantly has as their main market and disregard everyone else in order to please them. It's an annoying stereotype which is brought in any argument between the genders, wether or not he's male or or not is not the issue. I'm kinda sick of seeing it brought up as a valid argument, cause it isnt. Not any more. It's just a "I can blame anything and everything on a small portion of the males being creeps" card.

No, the issue is you trying a call this argument invalid because women always resort to our "feminist bull****". As if the argument means less because one "woman" was cynical. As if it's something we all said or we all agreed to. Ironic, that you said "stereotypical", considering who was stereotyping what. <_<

I'm not calling anything invalid, In fact, I agree with you, I prefer smaller busted women myself  ,Don't put words into my mouth. I just said I'm tired of seeing the "fact" that males being creeps brought up in every subject where it's males vs females. Because it is always present. And apparantly, it's always the cause of womens concerns.

Well like I've said, it doesn't really matter to me what the models' breasts size are. If you look at my.. uh.. "artwork" (a charitable term as far as mine is concerned), she's not all that busty.

Although the pouty lips are a bit overdone, yeah.

You shouldn't be, because there are a lot of guys who really hate that fake look.

Hell, I don't even like natural tans anymore because the look itself is so synonymous with a fake appearance now.

In India you might think light skin is synonymous with fakeness instead. All the skin lightening products they have there...

Like I said before, let's make another pointless addition then, bulge slider.

But then again, men aren't really bothered with over-swollen codpieces.

Also, I would way prefer smaller busts to larger bulges. There's no comparison.

Well, I'm not happy about the sterotype either. But there it is; I haven't seen any evidence to dispel the feelings that the majority of the average male gamer crowd is not "horny teenagers". For instance; Bayonetta did smashingly well. Dead Or Alive: Extreme 2 did smashingly well. Need I go on? It's an unpleasant scenario, and I also despise it when males as an entirety are cast as raging lumps of testosterone who think with their crotches.

And I wasn't bringing it up as an arguement, I was making a passing remark. And this is getting off-topic. If you wish to continue this, send me a PM.

A while back, I saw an armor set in a museum that did have an oversized cup protecting the groin. Forgot which king it belonged to.

I apologize.  I just get a feminist nerve tweaked when you blamed that argument on womenkind and it was a guy. Seemed stereotypical, to me, as well as reversing your point that women shouldn't label men when you went and falsely labeled women. I personally avoid making such judgments because they never ultimately help my point, and my entire purpose here is to make some of the guys (and BioWare) understand where we're coming from.

Not to mention that's the trend so many female leads follow. Masturbatory eye candy.

You've nothing to apologize for. Count was the one who made the sweeping generalization and insulting remark. All you did was call him on it. If he had a valid point to make he should have taken a deep breath and made it.

Well, we tend to be pretty pale here in New York.  I'm sure if I grew up where that was not the case I would feel differently; I guess it's just a "what seems normal to you" thing.

Fair enough, I guess I felt a bit insulted by that very stereotype in the same way as many women might do about females heroines looking and dressing like red sonja, so it's a bit ironic that'd it'd be brought up in a thread like this I agree. And like I said, I have nothing against the arguments presented in this thread or anything like that. Just lashing out against the irony of using a common stereotype as an argument against another, however valid the one you're holding might be.

What do breasts have to do with penises?

Don't answer that.

You're comparing oranges and bananas.

Compare female breasts with male chest.  If there was a breast slider I'm sure there would be a male chest slider.  And if there wasn't then that would be disgustingly sexist.

What, using stereotypes as a defense in an argument against stereotypes? Hypocritical much?
