Stop posting pictures of Etain damnit! The more I see her, the more I want to create Hawke who looks like her. Oh god, I hope we'll be able to.
Sorry, she's just so beautiful and Hawke-like, for me. She's got Bethany's dark ringlets and Garret's animal pelt... I'll try to stop posting her.
I won't!

Make it so, BioWare.

Honestly, it's not really her I'm advocating, but the general feeling. Yay for Character Creation!

Oooh, lovin' all the pics of women in real armor.
I hope that mage robes get a proper treatment too, since I'll probably be playing as a mage. I couldn't get myself to equip any of those robes that let my poor mage's breasts hang out.

I agree, but clearly you haven't seen the latest screenshot with Bethany in it. http://img101.images...ner20100817.png I mean, O.OOn another note, who thinks that Marian Hawke will be portrayed as a different class? I think it'd be interesting to see her as a rogue or a mage as Garret is already a warrior.

Edit: Just to note, I do actually like the way those robes look. Even if Bethany must be a little chilly.

I really hope we have the option to give her nice looking semi-long hair. Dao was seriously lacking in the pretty hair department. I can be a bad-ass warrior/rogue/mage and still have hair that isn't cut up to my jaw. It's very possible.
Very true--the problem is with clipping, I think, rather than utility. Since armor can be of various sizes, too long and it starts clipping right through armor. If they hold long hair in a position where it won't, they need to cement it down, and it looks unnatural.
Honestly, I could just go for pretty hair, of which DAO lacked.

And what John doesn't know, kids, is that if MY cortex bomb goes off, every DA2 designer's cortex bomb goes off.
For reference, John is, in fact, a DA2 designer.
Set the bomb off, Make it happen.

That sounds awesome, and I'm even more interested to see her now! Although, I can melt butter from across the room, too. I just have to hit that little button on the stove before I walk away. *ba-dum ching!*Mike Laidlaw wrote...
Indeed. Hotness does, in fact,
depend on your definition of hot. And by -my- definition of hot,
FemHawke is capable of melting butter from across the room.
You, my friend, are referring to the Lady of War! And I totally agree with that attitude. Any woman who would slaughter her enemies with deadly finesse for hours, then if she has time left, tie her man to a tree and have her way with him is the kind of woman I can admire.Captain Crash wrote...
No fairy tales here! Shes powerful, dominant and will cut any man who get in her way! Still probably to much flesh but even if she was covered up more that image purveys an attitude I would love for her!
Your taste is impeccable, sir. That's exactly the kind of female fighter I'd like to play. Graceful, yet deadly, and fully clothed. Mages can afford to dress down, but a fighter needs to be badass. Doesn't mean she can't have an elegant hairstyle, though.JoePinasi1989 wrote...

Cate Blanchett is a woman who looks like a queen--absolutely elegant and regal, but I wouldn't say a warrior. Maybe an older Queen Cousland, if she could get old. When she's been a bit more polished, see?

Hopefully they know they need to up their game after they saw the modders go to town on the hair. I mean seriously, as someone restricted to the 360 for the time being coming on the forums and seeing so many of you with modded hairstyles just rubs in that I can't use mods.
From what I've seen so far though the hair looks better this time around. Hawke and Bethany at least, both have 'prettier' hair than those available in DAO.
Aside from how nice it is to look at, the other problem I had with hairstyles in Origins was that a lot of the nicer styles were taken straight from a companion or significant NPC's own style. Didn't matter every time, but for instance I couldn't make a human male with Alistair's hair, nor a woman with Leliana's. I need my PC to be unique!
