On another note, who thinks that Marian Hawke will be portrayed as a different class?  I think it'd be interesting to see her as a rogue or a mage as Garret is already a warrior.Edit: Just to note, I do actually like the way those robes look.  Even if Bethany must be a little chilly.

I really hope we have the option to give her nice looking semi-long hair. Dao was seriously lacking in the pretty hair department. I can be a bad-ass warrior/rogue/mage and still have hair that isn't cut up to my jaw. It's very possible.

Very true--the problem is with clipping, I think, rather than utility. Since armor can be of various sizes, too long and it starts clipping right through armor. If they hold long hair in a position where it won't, they need to cement it down, and it looks unnatural.

Honestly, I could just go for pretty hair, of which DAO lacked.

Your taste is impeccable, sir. That's exactly the kind of female fighter I'd like to play. Graceful, yet deadly, and fully clothed. Mages can afford to dress down, but a fighter needs to be badass. Doesn't mean she can't have an elegant hairstyle, though.

Hopefully they know they need to up their game after they saw the modders go to town on the hair. I mean seriously, as someone restricted to the 360 for the time being coming on the forums and seeing so many of you with modded hairstyles just rubs in that I can't use mods.

From what I've seen so far though the hair looks better this time around. Hawke and Bethany at least, both have 'prettier' hair than those available in DAO.

Aside from how nice it is to look at, the other problem I had with hairstyles in Origins was that a lot of the nicer styles were taken straight from a companion or significant NPC's own style. Didn't matter every time, but for instance I couldn't make a human male with Alistair's hair, nor a woman with Leliana's. I need my PC to be unique!
