Pft. Use that giant fist spell (I forget it's name) and you're cracking skulls. You're also shattering bodies if you freeze / petrify the person before that.

There's a nonzero probability of that happening.

But I like being up-close and personal. Nothing better than the sound of splintering skulls under your gauntlets in the morning.

I agree. Close enough to get all covered in the blood of your enemies. It looks so metal.

I really can't decide which class I want to play first. I prefer to melee but DA is really a mage's game. *sigh*

I have a squence. Warrior. Mage. Rogue. I have a hard time playing male characters, so likely they'll all be female (and named after myself, my sister and my mother, because I have so little imagination).
But.. when I play mages, I want to play a battle-mage type.
It's how I rolled in D&D. So much fun.

I liked rogue in Origins but I really basically played it like a warrior. So I don't know if I'd like a DA2 warrior better. I liked some of the rogue specializations best. But mages look extremely tempting and they were by far the most powerful class in Origins. I might have to play a battle mage my first time through, I don't know.

It's funny because I think if I were actually living in a fantasy game I'd probably be a mage, but I almost always choose melee classes.

I also tend to be in the midst of the battlefield and fighting, using two-handers if possible. Mages just tend to be the coolest in terms of flavor though, lifting stuff with your thoughts and then setting people on fire and healing them?

Did you forget how mages were generally treated?
Rather be a cunning rogue and make it rich.

Yeah I like dual wield best and then 2H. All offense, all the time I say. B)

You have a point about mages though.

I'd be a Battle Mage. I wouldn't be able to choose. Though, I always play a Melee class to some degree. On WoW: Ret Pally. DA: Reaver. D&D: Fighter.

But if I could be ANYTHING. I'd need the magic. It's too temping. >:3

Okay, so I was bored... but I'm done now! I swear... no more bad photoshops from me. At least not ones I'm going to post here. :)

I'm assuming that the lady with her head on Hawke's body is Hawke's mother... If so, she's pretty hot. So, based on the what the mom and the sister looks like, Lady Hawke is going to be Lady HAWTE.

No idea how realistic this one is but I plan to use it as inspiration for a future fem warrior Hawke. Monster head and all. She'll keep it as a reminder of what it cost her to get to where she is.

That...honestly looks male to me. Severely so. :o

Missing those boob slots in the armor aintcha? /jk :D

btw it actually is listed under female warriors on this Irish site for Celtic myths or something.

This one is male. Any refusal is a way to say "Look I´m dumb!"

Both Bethany and their mother have really pretty hair. I wouldn't be surprised if Bethany's was a Bethany exclusive á la Morrigan (... and later Velanna), but it looks like we've got some slightly more modern hairstyles on the horizon. Possibly not very period appropriate, but far too pretty for me to care.

It's conforming, accentuating the curves and shape of the figure. This appeals to the general male audience, in my experience. If you were to compare a female character in huge plate armor that takes away the ability to descern gender, and this kind of armor, I think you would find the response be overwhelmingly for the latter.

Big boobs are overrated. Small is much more beautiful, and that means you don´t see them when covered by thick steel plates.

No, what I meant is, that the decapitated orc is probably female. Warrior is obviously a dude. xD

Personally, I'm really hoping for some cornrows or dreadlock hairstyles for Lady Hawke. Because trust me, when applied correctly, they look positively awesome on a woman.

And also a good braid, like the one the ponytail fans were talking about. Yes, they were actualy talking about a braid.

I know, that´s why I said "both". I think the orc is male too.

However it´s not as obvious as with the Warrior, I´ll give you that:)
