If you got the CE of ME2 on the PC (or perhaps even 360) the you should know that you can actually use the Collectors armor and weapon on both the PC and 360, despite only buying the game for one platform. Well, I was wondering if anyone knows if we will actually be able to use this content also on the Ps3. So that if you happen to own the CE for the PC/360 you also get to use your Collectors armor/gun on the ps3..

Just something that I randomly thought of...

not sure I doubt it though.

Even though I have DA:O for the PS3 and ME2 for the 360, and I can use the blood dragon armor in both games. I'm not sure how that works. I guess if the code to unlock it is the same for both consoles.

I'm assuming that its connected to your EA account.. so that it doesn't matter which platform your on.. as long as you got the right Account.

No, that is a negatory.

Since there is no way to currently share DLC between PC and XBOX, I do not believe they are going to suddenly allow DLC to be shared between XBOX/PC to the PS3.

So I guess it would be possible if the codes for any PS3 DLC are tied to you EA account?

nope, DLC is pretty much exclusive to whatever platform you purchased it on, you never retain complete ownership of it either, more like you're renting content for a period of time until the availability to download it has ceased. Meaning say your HDD screws up you replace it and start downloading content back to your HDD if whomever you bought it from doesnt have it on the server anymore you're assed out.

nope my dragon age codes from when I had it for 360(which were registered with EA and through this very site) did not carry over to DAO when I got a PS3. Had to purchase all but stone prisoner.

not saying it cant be done though, for instance things like lucky stone, embris many pockets, helm of the deep, were on 360 when I had it, and carried over to my PS3.

If Bioware was reasonable, yes.

Bioware isn't reasonable.

Right, cause it has nothing to do with Microsoft or Sony. <_<

Probably not. You can't share DLC between PC and 360.

Preorder codes work for both platforms, but content bought through Xbox Live or with BioWare points do not transfer over.

Edit:  Oh, that's what the OP is asking: whether pre-order and CE DLC will transfer over.  I doubt it.  The codes were made for PC and 360- they both show up in your downloads, but there's no PS3 download listed.

I originally played ME2 on XBOX 360 and then my 360 broke. I bought Dragon Age II new and got a free PC copy of ME2 and all the DLC I had was still intact. All the DLC from the game is linked to your EA account and has nothing to do with the console you are using.
