I posted this at Nexus, but maybe someone can help me here:

Recently I downloaded this set of armor:
http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1066

Once I got it into the game I noticed that it's properties were a bit too much overpowered in my taste.
Being a toolset noobie that I am, I am here to ask if it is possible to modify them?

Also, the armor is automatically added to the player's inventory.
I am familiar to C-oriented language and would like, if possible, to change the script.

I saw script files are identified with a .ncs extension, though I found none in the modder's resouce available
Neither by opening the .erf with ErfEditor.

Thanks in advance. :wizard:

The armour properties are controlled by the UTI file. You can extract it, edit it in the toolset, then place it in the Override folder.

The scripts are just to get the item into the game (usually to place it into your inventory on loading). NCS are compiled scripts. NSS are non-compiled scripts (and thus the sort of thing usually included in resources).

I see, I tried opening the armor's UTI and it showed up a grid and it's rows representing the content.
I have to edit by hand?
Like adding/removing what I want by adding/removing a row, and if to add, defining a new PropertyID and PropertyPower?
Is there any place where I can gather the IDs for the abilities? Found them at: \\\\Source\\\\2DA\\\\itemprps.xls

Or maybe there is a way to edit like when you create a new Item, with a 3d view and such?

If I do rewrite the UTI files, hoes does one make them to override the default?
Just put them at the override folder or do I have to make something  with the UTI to create another format or something else?

Thanks for your reply. ;)

Just editing, I got it working, I had help from DarkeWolf from Nexus and I solved the problem by editing the properties by hand and placing the modified .UTI on the same folder as the ERF.
I also was able to modify the script for one of my own, I found it at the mod's module/data/<uid>.erf
