i just discovered a new (to me) way to defeat sarevok: his own traps!

one of the traps in the center of the room where he hangs out is a skull trap spell. i drank a potion of magic protection, which, with my other gear, gave me 85% magic resistance. then i kept walking back and forth over the traps, and they killed him!

Clever. The first time I beat him, Semaj charmed my PC Fighter. Sparky and Sarevok stood in one corner of the temple doing nothing while the rest of the party took care of Semaj and Angelo and healed before the charm wore off. Then we all dog piled Sarevok.

Well, I beat Sarevok once with chickens!
I was paralyzed and Sarevok stood alone, closing in for the kill. So I used the only option left, I cheated! I began console summoning a horde of rabid chickens, keeping a wall of them between him and me. They eventually pecked him to death.

I always thought Sarevok was tough due to magic resistance, but sometimes the game just loves you.
I had a pretty dull game, nothing special happening and I just wanted to get my character into a dragon fight.
Then came Sarevok. I thought "I'm in for a fight, I guess."
CRITS. Crits  bloody everywhere. Imoen rolled natural 20 twice in a row and my melees were critting getting hits like no tomorrow. I also seemed to have gotten lucky on the damage rolls. I just stared at the screen as it shook, constantly.
Disregard that. I'm actually thinking of natural 20, not crits themselves.
