So, when you play KOTOR, what's the order of planets you visit? ie: Tattooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, Korriban? Throw in anything else as well... favourite character, favourite weapon, favourite armor, good character build, etc..

I did Kashyyyk first to get Jolee, then Korriban, Tattooine and Menaan last. Favourite weapon is double bladed light saber (green, orange or blue crystal).

I usually travel to Kashyyyk first to get Jolee. If I'm playing a gunslinger Jedi I will then travel to Manaan for the Pistol Optics and leave before completing the quests there. If I'm not playing a gunslinger I go to Tatooine straightaway then Korriban. Manaan is often my last stop. Once in a blue moon I will do Korriban early to get that sweet conversation with Yuthura Ban on Dantooine. My favorite party member is Jolee Bindo. He's a very well written and fun character to bring along. I usually leave him behind when playing a Consular though, and when I don't, I still like to give other characters a shot. I like to rotate my party so everyone gets a moment to shine. I even bring along T3-M4 at times.



I usually go single saber style with dueling. Since my favorite starting class is Scoundrel I'm fond of Nextor and Opila crystals to enhance the Critical Strike chain. Later on I ditch the Opila crystal for a Solari. If I'm dual wielding I usually throw a Damind and Phond crystal in the off hand saber. Later on I replace them with a Sapith or Upari.



My favorite build is Scoundrel/Consular with maxed Dueling and Critical Strike. I go this route when playing dark side. If I'm playing a Jedi I like Scoundrel/Guardian or Scout/Guardian. The former has less all around protection due to lower saving throws, but is buzzsaw that cuts through anyone in seconds. The latter is better on all around defense and has the benefit of being able to fully repair HK-47. I go with whatever suits my mood at the time.

The story seems to flow the best, and visiting Korriban last works out well with my existing party at that point.

Agreed. Tattooine, Kashyyk, Manaan, Korriban is the usual choice for me too. Though after Manaan I tend to do a bit ot shuttling around to pick up some of the more "spread out" side quests.

I do vary a little just for fun, but the first planet is always Tattooiine for me. Just to get HK-47. One of the best written side characters ever, in any game imo (if you like that sort of dark humor, that is. I do.)

Sometimes I'll do Kashykk, Tattooine, Manaan, Korriban if I get the Bastila's Mother sidequest early

tattoine, kashyyk, manaan (stay awhile on manaan cause I love it), finally Korriban. I've done it like that each time I've played dunno really why it just seemed to me like the natural flow of the story.

as for the equipment and party, varies wildly from one playthrough to the next but if I have Jolee hes always in there, and normally Carth is my second but I mix it up

Kashyyyk, Tattoine, Manaan, and Korriban is the one I've always stuck with.

Weapons and armor depends, but I usually use the Jedi Robes most of the time, and upgrade them when I get new ones, when I'm at Korriban I usually switch to Sith Robes to better "blend" in. I've always had a habit of choosing a single bladed light saber, though I've choosen two from time to time. When it comes to the party, it's usually Jolee and Bastila.

I go hop around to get money and gear then go to Korriban to complete my training. The rest I do at random.

Ditto! I always like to get the Forest and Desert done, then enjoy a veritable paradise in Manaan
before entering the depths of the Dark Side in Korriban. Of course Interplanetary Side Quests are something else,
but I generally stick to that guideline.

 I'm currenty going Kashyyyk (Jolee, Zalbaar's story, Circlet of Saresh), Tatooine(HK-47, Rescue Griff, Bastilla's Mother), Manaan (Jolee's story), and finish up with Korriban (Rescuing Dustil, Qel-Droma's Robe).

I was going to pick up the Robes before Manaan, but the murder trial unlocked before i finished Tatooine. The best part of this path was that by the time I reached Tatooine I'd already gained enough Repair for all of the HK-47 upgrades.

Oh, and with the Circlet of Saresh no one ever resists my Stasis Field. Scoundrel/Consular gets the best sneak attacks.

Korriban is always fun to play last for story reasons, though this being a no-spoiler forum I won't risk saying the reason for that, though I daresay that most of you know why.

I usually play Tatooine first, then Kashyyyk, Korriban and Manaan since I've gotten used to saving Manaan for last since it's my favorite planet, but I tend to rotate it with Korriban.

I usually go Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, and Korriban last for the extra dialogue. Its fun to switch the order though, so this time with my new character I want to try either Tatooine or Manaan last.
