Can't say for sure before I haven't tried the toolset and the game.

But ... more hairstyles, more beards, scars ... so more character customization would be nice.

Cat with a hat ... that would be nice ;)

as always: more armor, more weapons ...

small things you can integrate into your mod

Probably dead obvious, but props and tools and objects from settings outside Ferelden or conventional western fantasy and society. We've had some interesting ancient Japan-themed mods in NWN which were only made possible because so many folks put in effort in creating furniture, shrubbery, items of clothing, interiors etc that felt like the real article. Considering that DA:O places even more emphasis on realism when held up against the comparatively subpar graphics of NWN, it would be even more jarring to notice module-makers' lack of attention to such detail when it happens. Personally, I'm hoping to create a mod adventure set in an ancient South-East Asian maritime world inspired setting - and I know imported_beer's module draws on Indian lore - so such tools at hand would be greatly appreciated.

Better female bodies, but not H-cup monstrosities.

New classes (Rogue with some spell access?)

Clothes for mages that do not look like robes.

In-game house for player. Put it in an easily-accessible stronghold where the darkspawn can't go.

Invisible helms.

Beards for Elfs.

New eyebrow shapes.

Steampunkish glasses or goggles.

Funny you mentioned a cat with a hat. I just modeled a chihuahua with a wig. Wig is Chigurh's hair, idea was from an internet photo. I was thinking about a story where a "Spanish" lover angers a powerful sorcerer with his infidelity and is cursed to live life as a chihuahua. Your character goes on a "beast master" quest to recruit the talking chihuahua, who has the ability of communicating with animals. I don't know if all this can be done, though. Can't wait for the release. :P

Morrigan's hair -angry face-
Mage concept art hair
Long hair
More hair styles
More eyebrows
Better female body
Smaller feet and hands
More armor, clothes, robes etc...

Basically the aesthetic stuff. I like my game to be pretty :kissing:

Definitely scripts for new classes, skills, specializations, combat moves, and spells.

Also, scripting to support larger parties, like 5 or 6 members, would be good to have.

I'd like a netcode, but that can't be done :-(

Apart from that, a babarian lie class would be nice, and I would second the idea about a Mon lie class...

More tats and hairstyles would be nice too..

I would think the first, most popular mod will be the 'knick knacks' mod that gives you an equivalent (identical?) item for every stupid pre-order bonus ever, for any version of the game. From the outset you get every silly ring just as if you'd pre-ordered it from wherever. Pick and choose what you want to use at time of play, not at time of purchase.

Following that, the next most popular mod will be eyeshadow for men.

Unless it plays into the story mechanic, I've always seen this as something fairly useless .

This is the toolset forum not the complain about knick knacks forum, we try and keep those kind of dicussions in other forums.  There already is eyes shadow and liptick and blush for men in the toolset morph editior.

The kinds of mods I want? Stories. The type of stories BioWare can't tell because they need to make a AAA game that sells over a million copies.

Bioware isn't very good at designing spaces. This is why in the original Mass Effect game, there were tons of areas that were just wide open boxes, which is fairly horrible from a shooter perspective as it doesn't provide any forward momentum and forces a player to constantly retreat to areas where they're not exposed.

The lack of jumping/climbing/swimming is there not because it can't enhance the gameplay, but because BioWare couldn't handle the gameplay it introduces.

I'm for some stuff from Baldur's Gate: intimate for mages, more classes, really freaky spells(cry of the banshee, blade barrier, summon elementals, etc.) and of course the smith cromwell + the weapons he can forge for you(crom faeyr, the equaliezer, the wave, the silverbalde, etc.)

more mods that allow us to visit Thedas. Maybe mods loosely based on the novels which would add to the Mythos.
