Other than that, I'd like to make a straight/gay romance mod.
What kind of mods would you like for Dragon age?

It would be cool if they added it as a way to get over ledges a la Zelda series, other than that, no real place for it. It's just not a mechanic that would work well. Frankly, if you want to put in some useless filler platform **** into an RPG like DA:O you then have to take into account the fact that A.I. would not be able to make complicated jumps. Do you want to switch to each of your four characters and do the jump? Sounds tedious.
Just my 5 cents.

ROFL, odd vision there of synchronized team jumps - sounds like a potential Olympic sport for Ferelden citizens, doesn' it? And now I can't exorcize the mental image of your party members hopping around the landscape like rabbits, or holding up ugly brown bags around their ankles and trying to beat each other in a gunnysack race. Thanks for the unintended laugh.Pink_Moon wrote... i would like to have a mod where you can use a shield as a weapon, like Captain America xD
Then look no further than vanilla Dragon Age! The warriors get a sword and shield talent block which allows them to do more attacks with their shield than their sword. It also turns you into an impentrable fortress of death.
Now if you wanted to solely equip just a shield and nothing else.... that would look a bit odd don't ya think?

New items and perhaps a new fully-voiced companion or two thrown in, which can seamlessly implement into the mainquest too.
Ferelden has a sky let's use it! Maybe in-game weather and a very laid back day-night cycle (like 6 realtime hours of each) So sometimes it's night when you play and sometimes it's day, a slower cycle would also be less demanding on system resources as it wouldn't have to worry about constantly altering itself.
Lastly (for now) more item models, you can always use more of that and I'm sure there is plenty of creative minds out there that want to model their own dragon age armor or boots, or a sick cloak,

No, everyone knows it isn't going to happen and BioWare have said it won't happen.
The toolset may be more flexible than ever, but it isn't THAT flexible

If possible, I'd like an assassin and/or thief guild (think oblivion) quest line. There was some good ideas there, but it could have been so much better/longer.
The most fun quests I had in obliviion were the Dark Brotherhood quests, now a longer version of those would be awesome. What guild in Thedas would turn you into a professional assassin? Hmmmmm perhaps the Antivan Crows

You mix together flour, water, sourdough starter, and some salt and then beat it with a mace for 10 minutes to knead it. Then you find the a warm and comfy place, like inside the carcass of a slain dragon, to keep it and let it rise for a couple hours. To bake it you have to anger the local wizard so much that he starts shooting fire at you, which you have to skillfully catch with your dough.
Depending on how many fireballs you caught, the quality of rising spot, and accuracy with ingredient quantities and timing, your bread may either be a moist and tender gift from the heavens or a horrendously distasteful thing which does little more than damage the mouth and intestinal tract.
Don't think it ends there though, you can even have dramatic moments involved which can alter the direction of the story line!
For example, when the commoners taste your delicious beef stew they realize that you are their One True King. With you as their leader, they assault the castle of their despotic and deranged monarch and overthrow him. With you as king, and Nourisher, the people happily live out their stories and dreams while intensely sated with your uncanny yum-yums.
Of course, if you, in a fit of foolishly callous stupidity, leave the onions out of the stew the people will quickly turn on you. They do not accept your terrible methods which make black-hearted mockeries of true cookery. You are exiled from the land, with the threat of death hanging heavy on you should you return.
With no where else to turn, you scratch out a miserable living in the caves of Forgotten Recipes. You eagerly whet your anger towards those that would call you outcast, and distort old dishes and recipes until they are little more than insipid and uninspired shadows of what they once were.
With no fine cuisine or similar delectables to sample, your stomache soon festers and, when the corruption takes you, your vile existence is at last brought to a well deserved end.
Or like, you can make cookies with chocolate chips OR peanut butter chips.

Added customization - hair, tattoos etc.
and of course, as much really thought out and well done content as possible.

* adding "fluff" to the game - nude modes, retextured items/armours
* game mechanism changes - new spells, new specializations
* game story changes - new areas, new quests, new companions.
* stand-alone adventures, not "add-ons" to DA.

I was just wondering, what is BioWare's position against nude mods on this site?
My guess is they will be banned, even if the game is 18+.

I am pretty sure BioWare has a good reason for not including bow strings.
