Things Id like to see in mods. The obvious ones are
1) More armors and weapons or a way to customize the colors of armor.
2) Some more interesting classes like playing a mage but outside the circle.
3) New spells for mages in general
Things that i think would be cool but may be hard I dunno. 2 from above should probably be down here.
1) More origins or something to that nature (i see this being hard due to the nature origins have for the overall game in the way people talk and interact with you.)
2)More freedom to attack people
What kind of mods would you like for Dragon age?

I'd be interested in the following mod/campaign concepts:
1. A mod-campaign that lets you take the role of a demon - with the same branching choice concept as the vanilla game. You could be a demon that wants to do some good (rarely happens, if ever!) while still getting something for him/herself. Or you could be a demon with the ambitious goal of becoming the Arch-Demon. You could choose to be a Desire Demon, Rage Demon, Arcane Horror, etc, etc. Or something completely original.
2. A mod that lets you have demons as companions in the party, and/or being a demon character in vanilla.
(probably the easiest to fulfill)
3. OH GOD THE TACKY UNDERWEAR. KILL IT WITH FIRE.
Edit: Edited for better clarification.
And another edit to add one more thing.

Strongholds, or at least a mod that adds more functionality to Warden's Keep and more weapons and armor are the first things that come to mind. I also wouldn't mind some expansive multi-level dungeons that you could continue to explore as your party got stronger. Put a few wolves in the first level and a few dragons in the last, and make the loot get more and more enticing.

To be able to turn helms on/off... please, i feel like stabbing myself in the face.
And also, a movable UI and larger mini-map would be nice.

You think the textures in the vanilla game aren't high enough resolution? Good grief! I had frequent memory leaks with all the texture data I had to load in the game from my old, crippled hard drive (It's an IDE). It's run a lot more smoother now that I moved the game install to a SATA drive.
Either way, the resolutions in the game are high enough for me.

I hate bunnyhoppers... but I love doing the above mentioned.. I dunno why. But standing in one play hopping up and down for no reason aside from the chucklehead being bored really annoys me.
Also, I found it funny that dwarf girls are curvier than both elf and human girls. xD Makes me wonder if they designed the female mesh around the dwarf and then stretched the model up to fit human and elf. lol

Whatever folk say they want, you know what the first one to be developed will be? A trainer to get your character to the max available level and best armor and weapons, just to see how they feel. Come on, When NWN came out, those were some of the first. The imagination stuff that was good took a little longer. The lexicon was one of the greatest aids to the toolset ever. But it wasn't there the first week. I know I will create an area with basic textures and test lighting effects animation scripts. Then see how I can twist or tweek them up a bit. X, Y and Z positioning combined with Pitch and Yaw for each effect, if possible. Once I know how many of these things work, then, and only then, will I start converting my ideas into DA:O realms and adventures. Happy Modding folks!

I don't know if anyone else is with me, but I wouldn't mind seeing a download-able quest line involving:
(Pretty big spoilers!)
Alistair inheriting King Cailan's suit of armor; and have it use-able in the game.
I was always hoping but didn't encounter anything like this in my playthrough.

- I would like to have an extra static action bar (doesn't change when changing characters) so I can shortcut items and crafting skills.
- Advanced and extended tactics.
- A better shop interface. Item comparation with your party or all of your companions made easier.

Race specific talents?
Like for my Dalish elf:
I lived in the wild, so maybe the ability to call wolves to my aid in battle.
I can picture it, seeing (and hearing) me howl and some wolves show up rushing in to aid me in battle for a short amount of time.
Spawning wolves with dog behaviour, can't be that hard right?

A hooded piece of clothing for my Elf Archer, and the ability to have all party members with me, instead of just 3...I feel like im missing out when their not in my party. I dont know how this would affect the game, for instance if everybody is in my party would they all react to my decisions, or interact with themselves?

I'm specialising in stealth, so I want a hooded cloak too.
A shady character who hides his face, that's just logical.
Idea for a special cloak:
Attached to a quest, give a npc (a shopowner) f.e. 20 wolf pelt (already in-game) and it will make and give you a special hooded cloak as a reward.
A wolf pelt cloak with the hood made of the head of the wolf, you know with anyway the ears still attached to it. With some nature resistance maybe.
