1-Remove the drum sound when saving the game.

2-Make all enemies social with each other and fix the AI flaw where if you attack them from extreme range with a missile weapon or spell they don't move into attack range and fight back. This is more of a bug that needs fixing IMO.

3-Change the Tactics system so that it no longer requires skill points. Either unlock all Tactics slots at level 1 or unlock a new slot every character level.

4-Usable items/containers that do not highlight when holding the Tab key until you are within close proximity of them. Higher Cunning skill increases this range. This would allow for making hidden caches (like the ring of protection in the tree stump in BG1,etc) and also for hidden triggers to open secret doors, etc.

Mod alert

If you want every woman in the Dragon Age forum to worship you as a GOD for ALL TIME, then there is a mod you need to make. However since this effects the game, and has to do with the ending- I shall not speak anymore of it in this forum.

I shall however make a group for it after a reasonable period has elapsed so as to limit the spread of spoilers.

For now:

1.) More hair options. We probably wont ever get nice, flowing hair, but some more styles would be nice

2.) Better mage robes. Something with layers and style, not just single pieces

3.) Option to disable helmets

4.) More auto-pause conditions

5.) Fix lockpicking. Too many things can't be opened with the highest skills

Adding more origins, universal backgrounds for your character.such as:

Mercenary

Farmer/Commoner for human/elf

Thief/Cutpurse

Also new mage specializations

and mod to allow owning a guild of your own, or having your own base of operations. thief guild / mercenary / mage tower

content additions like areas, i would add more villages, offer a lot more choices in where to go, go further into detail , such as areas inside denerum , and areas around the cities like farmlands, crossroads, fort and outposts

Hide Helmet option.

Ability to jump.

New companions, including a Desire Demon =)

These would be fine for me to start.

If I'm level 5 and I get a new companion, I don't want it's talents to be pre-selected, I want all the points I would be able to spend waiting for me. This would be so huge.

The auto selected talents/skills you get depending on what origin/race/class combo you pick, I want to choose where those points go. If I'm making a Two handed warrior 'zerker, the points in the shield line just annoy me.

Hide helmet.

New Game+

My idea for a mod is to add 6 sets of tomes to the game, 3 books in each set. They'd be located in chests in each of the Origins, so you can only get them by starting a new game. The books would be:

Talented! - Use: Gives character 16 talent points to spend.

Gifted! - Use: Gives character 20 attribute points to spend.

Skilled!: - Use: Give character 20 skill points to spend.

You wouldn't have to use them all, or any of them. As an added bonus, if you choose to sell the books instead of using them, they'd be worth 50 gold each.

How about some Asian inspired weapons and armor?  Maybe a few new specializations: Ninja for rogue, Samurai for warrior, and ???(can't remember the name an Asian wizard) for mage.  Or perhaps just a few new companions that would relate to these new classes?

A mod to hide helms.  Having them turn off during cut scenes, for me, breaks the immersion of playing and I'd rather have the option of either leaving them always off or always on.

I'd love to see either way more backpacks or a mod that simply increased inventory size to something ridiculous. I'm loving the game, but long dungeons with no way to offload the huge amount of loot that drops makes me a sad panda.

I'd like to see a mod that makes the Alistair and Morrigan romances gender agnostic.

Anything and everything, as long as it's hentai.

lol

Ok, in all seriousness, perhaps a wide variety of fantasy monsters.

Although, I would love steampunk type mods.

As far as largescale, perhaps a Britannia mod, the landscape from Ultima, although I'll probably be attempting this myself.

Ability to edit character appearance post-creation (during game play). Too often are small mistakes made that really bother those of us that love taking screenshots, sharing them, using them as wallpaper, etc. It sucks to reroll over and over just to tweak the characters look.

I mean, it’s a single player game. Why can't this be an option? I've read a lot of people that chose tattoos they later came to hate complain, especially.

I hope a mod for this comes out soon. lol

Bioware has a great idea but use it in the wrong way. I'm talking about the switch character option.

You basically switch user profiles with that option; but if we stuck to what the name states we'd have good way of importing a custom character.

For example we could use the character builder or toolset to export the creature load it into the game but the game still keeps our progress and inventory and adds any item updates we've made to inventory.

I want that kind of mod.

I want a mod that adds a new merchant to your camp.

One who has an infinite supply of all crafting materials and runes.

Is it possible to not render spell effects on weapons when they're sheathed? It looks kind of silly when you have flaming and sparking weapons on your back.

But I guess that's too deeply hardcoded into the engine...
