Sort of echoing the last post, but does anyone know for certain if this is the only collector one, or if the "uber-collector" edition is still in the works? I just want to know when and where to put my money before I commit to it. The last thing I want is to muss out on the uber-collector if this isn't it.

Edit: Got my question answered on the Bioware TV Liveshow! Confirmed that the collector edition on the website -is- the "uber" collector edition, and there's nothing else that's going to be more whizz-bang.

Sorry guys, stupid n00b question: The special edition is only on amazon.com and not on the amazon.uk.

I can still buy the .com US version and use it here in the UK, right?

Also, the little robo-dog thing on the packet, is that a picture on the box, or an actual little model/toy?

I believe the robo-dog is a piece of DLC that your  Shepard can interact with on the ship.  I'm guessing it is replacing our space hamster/fish and, of course, Urz.

I see.  So they pinched a Cerberus FENRIS Mech and reprogrammed it to sit in your cabin, rather than taking it into combat?  lol.

Anyway, having seen the special edition on line now, i can honestly say I won’t be buying it  
It's shame actually.  I don’t know what i was expecting (probably something large and interesting as mentioned in this very thread)  but a picture book and a couple of extra guns, a robo-dog i can’t use, a poster and a patch to put on my N7 hoodie (that I already own)  isn’t really much on an incentive to pay twice the asking price of the standard game.

Whats the feeling here?
Am I alone?

Yeah, I wish there were more included in the edition. I can understand that they wanted to keep cost down and keep packaging minimal. Thus, they stuffed all that they could in the space of a large novel. The art book appears to be the same size as the ME2 book, the mini litho is the size of a photograph, most of the rest of the content is digital.

I would have preferred a $200 edition with a helmet, ship model, gun replica, or omnitool sculpture. However, it is much better than the ME2 edition. Too bad they didn't attempt a documentary (I really liked the one in ME1); that's my biggest disappointment.

Other than that, I think they did rather well. The digital content will come in handy, but I would have preferred more collectibles.
