I just joined the ponytail group hoping it will free the world of the tyranny that is dwarven chest hair. Dwarven chest hair is even worse than Alistairs socks, little sneaky bastards, there are also never any initials on them

Now it's all clear! Female Hawke doesn't have Beard, she has Ponytail! Which works like the Beard, but instead of manliness it generates feminineness.

Only if you play on nightmare - by default all powerups like Beard and Ponytail are off on nightmare. However you can toggle them in options menu. Also, if you don't use Ponytail or Beard halfway through the game your character will turn into Sandal and dialogue wheel will be reduced to 1 option (guess what it will be).

Meh, he allowed me to see some footage I wouldn't have been able to see otherwise, and they made me laugh with all the antics moving the camera around, what's not to love?

Maybe, but it's a bit like being a chantry supporting maleficar. You should at least replace the lesser Hawke banner in your sig with a Varric one to show your support.

Ample chest hair must be reserved for Man Hawke, and Man Hawke alone.

Hawke is only even allowed chest hair at Varric's disgression. Should Varric wish it Hawke would be held down and shaved, his hair sold on the black market.
