Well, my least favourite would be the soldier, but ONLY because there are no weapon hotkeys.

What about X for last weapon used? How many weapons do you need at a moment's notice anyway?Tlazolteotl wrote...
That survey annoys me ... sure, I like the infiltrator, but all the classes are cool.

The hardest but most fun class to play is vangaurd. The easiest class to play is infiltrator with sniping is cake even on insanity but gets boring for me.
The sentinal and soldier are both interesting with many different ways to play them. Sentinal with tech armor and the Geth Shotgun is really fun so far.

Vanguard is by far my most favourite class. Interesting survey, did my best to fill it out correctly.
btw IMHO PvP no one beats Assault Armor Sentinel. The cooldown is just crazy and makes you invincible.
I'm gonna give the Assault Sentinel another go tonight, your Haestorm Run (and a run it is) convinced me. Think I try the Firestorm and burn my way through enemy lines.
The assault sentinel is best played by punching the majority of your enemies to death on insanity. That made it more fun than a vanguard for me.
I know how you play your Sentinel Mosor; combat shows more resemblance to a boxing match than a fire fight
I feel more like a pimp, slapping my hoes. Though the YMIR and the scion will still have their way with me if I show disrespect.

By the time most enemies do manage to get a few shots in, their protection is down and your assault armor will knock them down and you're probably cooled down too. Plenty of enemies are just a waste of bullets.

As far as fun goes, Vanguard all the way.

I beg to differ on sentinel being "best" (assuming by "best" you don't mean "favorite"). The vanguard can literally end a fight just as it started by simply charging straight into the fray of enemies and killing them straight away, thus preventing more from spawning. The killing speed of the vanguard is just flat out ridiculous (once you get past the learning curve).Count Viceroy wrote...
Sentinel is the "best" class, soldier and infil is just cheese with almost permanent slowmo, infil is worse in this regard. Engineer is the worst one imo.
As far as fun goes, Vanguard all the way.

All of them.
It's the whole point of soldier .. where another class' bag of tricks can be easily assessible with a press of a button, a soldier ends up being adrenaline rush spam.
(Ok, I also get annoyed 'cos I only have 8 power hotkeys for the whole squad, but that's another story)
Frankly, X is exactly the sort of thing that makes console games bad.
You are in a situation where you know what you want to do, and you have to fight the controls to do it.
The question is this:
IF I pause the game to switch weapons, the optimum course of action for the situation often includes weapon switching.
BUT, pausing is retarded.
Therefore, the control scheme is woefully inadequate.
I heard you can only bind 2 powers on the xbox.
So why is power use better on PC? I have >100 buttons which means I shouldn't have to put up with that crap.
Gonna use Assassin's Creed 2 for an example ...
You have to fight the camera all the time because .. the camera was not designed for use with mouselook.
You have the same button doing multiple things ... and having to click & hold a button is horrendously frustrating.
I mean I know what I want Ezio to do, why then do I have to use a half-assed command and wait for a second before it happens?
You only have hotkeys for 3 weapons, when pausing breaks gameflow.
Sure, you don't need to use the dagger, or throwing knives, or the pistol, etc. but they're awesome.
The end result is ... well ... it's a great console game. It's a mediocre PC game.
Because it's simply not fluid.
And that's what the soldier is.
By virtue of inadequate controls, it's not a polished experience.
