Today, when I resumed the game I had a funny thing happen. Alister was nearly nekkid. I put his armor (or some armor) on him and continued the game. Then I noticed that my main character's staff was missing. It was a special one and it wasn't anywhere to be found. I finished the mage's tower and then exited to camp. It was then I saw the merchant guy for Warden's Keep was back. When I talked to him he acted like I hadn't done the keep yet. Weird. I went to the keep and he was acting like it was the first time. Except there weren't any mobs - everything was completed. Oh oh.....
So I am stuck. The Keep won't convert into the Keep with the chest so everything I put into it is gone. I am pretty sure all the special items I got at the keep have disappeared from my characters and no way to get them back.
I like the game but the thought of starting over again does not appeal to me.
Anyone else have this error?
Return to Warden Keep?

Yup, same thing happened to me. I have no idea as to what might have caused it since I had crazy problems with my DLCs showing up unauthorized for a couple days. This resulted in removing/reinstalling the game, manually installing DLCs and a couple calls to EA tech support. Then once the DLCs showed up as authorized again and I loaded my old save--voila--all my nice gear went missing, Alistair half-naked, etc. Hard to believe this game had a beta.

Very common bug. Seems to be something to do with getting disconnected from the server and that stuffing up DLC content.
Did you already get Shale? Does the world vanish when you talk to him now?

Not sure if any of you done this but If you unchecked the DCL it may have delete your items when it uninstalled the DCL if you saved the game after you did the uncheck. IF YOU have a save game before you did the problem started reload from thier sucks you have to redo but better then being bugged or do the uncheck and recheck like I say at the bottom of this post.
If you didnt do the uncheck thing this may work to fix the problem as well.
This may not work on this game, just make sure to SAVE IN A NEW SAVE
1st make sure you are not saved at the keep. When get into the start menu of the game go to download and uncheck Warden Keep load your save game then save the game (NEW SAVE JUST INCASE!!!) then exit to the start menu and REcheck the keep again. LOAD the save game, That may alow you to restart the keep quest. You may have to redo the keep as far as gear in chest sorry that most likley will be gone. but worth a try.

I had this happen as well, check and see if wardens keep is even on your world map anymore.
I was going into Orzammar well geared, had the skymetal sword with all my best runes in it. At one point in the storyline Alister is removed from your group and a dwarf is stuffed in his place. When I finished that arc and reloaded the group, Alisters boots from warden keep, his skymetal sword and morigans staff had all vanished.
I contacted ea support and was told it was a game mechanics issue and I should ask other players for help ( a nice clean brush off,.. we have your money now ****** off...) none of the patched have fixed it and considering that I paid coin to get the buggy dlc I consider it to be their responsability to come up with a fix. been over 3 weeks now and other than the brush off I have nothing in way of a fix, So I gave up playing this steaming pile of ****e and went back to world of time wasting.... at least they support their game and answer questions posted in their forums...
