You all realize that any sex scene in the game would be told from Varric's perspective right?
implications . . . disturbing.
So don't ingest!
(Anyone get that joke?)

I installed a mod that was supposed to make them more, realistic, would be the word I suppose. It worked, hehe. Interesting screen shots, but in a way, I thought they were more tasteful than the strange underwear.
Well, there won't be a toolset for Dragon Age 2, and frankly, I think the "better sex scenes" could have been done more tastefully...
Aren't there like 3 options for them? Mild, hot, and zesty I think. Did you really find all of them tasteless? I use zesty and haven't seen anything I would consider in poor tastes.
I haven't seen all of them, and really haven't tried the mod out much, but from what I've heard...It's pretty bad.

Aren't they simply updating the current toolset for DA2?

If you want to create a game that is mature, you need to stop treating your audience as children.

I doubt that.

What is with this incessant need for pixel-boobies? Do they really add THAT much quality to a game? I'm thinking no...

Rather than forcing some pixel porn into the game with "realistic" sex scenes they should rather use the resourses on story.. And I'm no citizen of the US of A, but I do know FOX network... Implications, unpleasant... Lose customers, less money for EA & Bioware, less money on next game.
There is no reason to anger customers unnesserarily, and yes, the world is screwed up when it's alright to portray violence to 13+ but nipples, oh no..
But seriously, it is not needed. I could throw more arguments, but I do not want to go after the player instead of the ball.

That's one way to totally avoid adressing any part of the comment i made. Which was the statement itself was quite self-contradicting, so "means what exactly is says" is rather meaningless. The Triss scene only seems to support that, considering the "buttshot and all" actually is "shot of a butt submerged in water and very little else". Which is actually close to what the scenes were like in the first game indeed, but nowhere near what the cards from first game could be like. So if based on that you expect to see cutscenes of people having sex with graphics and angles as explicit as the card games from the first game (instead of camera tricks to suggest rather than show) and believe that would be seen as 'no different' from what the first game offered in this regard by the rating board... well, i don't think it'd be me here being purposefully daft.Marionetten wrote...
Don't be daft. You know as well as I do that The Witcher had full frontal nudity in-game. The statement means exactly what it says. That they aren't cutting anything out. They are just replacing the sex cards with actual scenes. We've already gotten a taste of the Triss one. Buttshot and all.
There is no censorship. Bioware chose to not include nudity in their game.TheMufflon wrote...

You missunderstand, the problem isn't what the games aren't showing; it's that they pretend like there is nothing to show, that there is no such thing as a nipple. I feel like that kind of censorship takes away a lot of believability and seriousness from the story.
