Asking for sex scenes in a video game and then calling someone a kid. That is rich.

I never asked for sex scenes. I asked for nudity in order to make the sex scenes somewhat plausible.

It seems that on top of having an attitude problem you're also somewhat illiterate. The two must be related.

You seem to forget that PC was the home of shooting games during those "AMAZING" times.

I remember the legendary console game, Half-Life, that revolutionarized territory that other console games like Quake, Hexen, Duke Nukem, etc. had treaded. Truly, Half-Life was the moment I can say point and shoot really advanced on consoles.

Mm..  I have trouble accepting this. Half-life was amazing, yes. However we've still got the classic Goldeneye that first treaded onto consoles and had the multiplayer aspect that became extremely popular. It was soon perfected afterwards with Perfect Dark.

Can't forget about Turok: Dinosaur Hunter either.. mm..

THe adults that play this game would very much like them to render these scenes in a way that would not make us feel like were being censored because we cannot handle it.

I just believe that if you're going to do something then do it right. Don't opt for a scene in which you show the act crudely covered up by giant diapers or censor bars. Now THAT is tasteless. A simple fade to black would be much better if nudity frightens so. Or perhaps not dealing with the subject of sexuality at all.

Now, I'm not opposed to a little nudity. However, I don't think nudity is necessarily the answer. I really, really liked the way Mass Effect did it. Tasteful, mature, gets the point across. Very nice.

I think Bioware gets the idea.

I wish Bioware scrapes romances entirely and dedicates more development time to actually making the game better.

ROmances do not take THAT much time and resources...They wont...considering its been there in most of thier games because people love it.

Romances help make the game that much more involving for some. To take it away would be like taking away a delicious layer of the cake that is called Bioware.

...the cake comparision was random though...

No, "frustrated" would be the word to describe my mood with the direction the game is taking and all the clowns on this forum asking for useless stuff like romance and nudity instead of the things that actually make the game fun.

I find romances fun..............I found their gameplay  quite boring and they seemed to have fixed that.

You're about 10 years too late.  BioWare's been putting romances in their games since BG2, so it's not a new direction.  And, many people do find the romances fun, or they would have stopped doing them.

ME1 or ME2?

I enjoyed ME1's romance scenes but hated the ME2 ones.

What is with this incessant need for pixel-boobies? Do they really add THAT much quality to a game? I'm thinking no...

And on this note, what's the point of adding romance to a game or sex at all? Or anything but 'kill the baddies?' The reason, it can add a lot to a story if done well.

Pixel-boobies add a lot to the story? What talented twins they are! ;)

I agree.  ME2's weren't as bad as DA:O,s in my book but the first ME has been the best so far in terms of "romance" scenes

...I like Alistair's. His was very well done.

Other than that, they're pretty awkward. I'd prefer to see ME1-style sex scenes; so long as they're unique from each other.

Yes in fact. Maybe not to the development of the story but they certainly can help drive an emotional message across. I've seen plenty of art do this in films, literature and paintings. So why is not ok for video games?

ME2 love scenes =

Garrus and Thane = Fade to black, thank god. Garrus's was especially sweet

Miranda = All you needed to add was an 80's pron soundtrack to top off the cringe-inducing cheesiness.

Jacob = DO NOT WANT THE PRIZE

Jack = Erm. I dunno, I am biased against her because I find her annoying. She is a bald Avril Lavigne emo-wannabe to me. So no comment, suffice to say I rolled my eyes mostly.

Tali = No comment again because I am biased against her for irrational reasons mainly being the Talimancers who creep the fruck out of me.

Oh and Edit: I liked ME 1's scenes. Well edited and for pixels it was pretty hawt.

Personally I find they help you explore different aspects of your character's and their lover's personalities. If done well (which can be said of anything) it can really make the story more personal.
