I'm curiious, from mid-game onward who does better DPS... Dog or
Leliana as an archer? I'm planning on specing leliana as a
lethiality/cunning based archer.)

When built correctly, Leliana will put out some major DPS and add utility to boot. Since she's already specced as a bard, the lethality/cunning archer build is the right idea for DPS. Dog is more of an off-tank and not so much a pure damage dealer; an admirable trait, but not a required one. I say Leliana >>> Dog by a country mile, even in mid-game. I hear she kisses better too...
