It's good. I've had an Asus laptop for a couple months and it's served me well.

Great SSV Enterprise...... no issues that I should be aware of? Will do a great job on playing the DA games?

@Sue: 1,595 dollars? Hmm, the price is good for the performance that this laptop is giving. But you want to spend that money for a laptop? I think you know if one of the laptop's hardware is getting damaged the price for the reparation is much bigger than the desktop PC. :) So, take care of him.

PS: I see you put my custom forum signature :P

Asus is generally considered to be a good brand, and the setup will more than adequately play DA. Pretty good video card, lots of RAM, sounds like a decent (at least) laptop to me. Much better than the one I'm currently using, and even that plays DA okay and has no problem with toolset usage.

Sandtigress, thanks. I just feel better to get other opinion since no one in my family has a clue with computers. And sometimes I am not sure of the stores since they maybe working on a commission. But if you all know even a better one that I should look at, I will check it out. still comparing.

Judging by the GFX card and processor, It's a computer that will give you a great performance on Dragon Age and all non-Crysis games in general.

What I mean by that is a game that's not Crysis. Crysis is a quite realistic shooting game, however, it requires an extreme powerful graphics card to run.

Most games on the market will run on the one you are wanting.

Sue That's a great laptop in every respect in term of a great workstation and high performance gaming machine. I assure you that it will run Crysis like a dream and anything you can throw at it.

If $1600 is your max budget with tax and everything; Here's a suggestion Step down in price and get maybe a Asus N71JQA1 or a Toshiba Q885(google it to see the spec) to save for an extended warranty, try to get it on sale because warranty on that kind of machine will run like 350$ for 3 years.

The video card on that machine will cost you upwards of $400 to replace not including labor and you cannot buy the video card anywhere on the open market. Replacing that video card on the Asus is a nightmare, to get to it is annoying at best. The most unstable part on any laptop will always be the video card because of heat. If you planning to run this machine more than 40 hours a week I highly suggest it. I been in this computer service business for 10 years, it be a wise investment.

To be clear that with that laptop you be able to play every game on the max settings that will be released for next 3-4 years or maybe more...

Zanthiel, I have a bit more for the purchase of extended warranty. I figure that is a must. You never know what may happen down then line with any of these. better safe then sorry since I do not have the know how. I will take a look at you other suggestions as well. But I am going to use this one as my standard to start to compare while shopping. But it looks like everyone that so far have given the thumbs up on this one. Which should keep me happy for years to come in gaming. Thanks for you advise.

Calin, thanks, that is what I wanted to here. I just did not want to buy something that would be obsolete in a year and money down the drain. You all have just been so helpful to me. .
