...seriously.

Once my copy of DA:O arrives, i'll probably spend the first hour typing down bonus codes on EA's mainpage.

With a preordered CE from Amazon, characters uploaded to BSN, beating the first (and probably the second installment, if it's released early enough) of Journeys and a few other marketing gags that slipped my mind, i'll start into the world of DA:O packed with about 7-10 items.

It's been a nice little bonus the first time, but meanwhile i feel like they're trying to literally bribe people into buying DA:O. It's a good game and will probably sell like hot cakes, why all the fuss?

Maybe you can't sell them ... only destroy them?

I like them ... I don't think people will buy DA:O only because of the bonus content. More content is (always) good and if I don't like something, I can simply refrain from entering the code.

But I can also understand your position ... I hope that "this is it" concerning bonus content before release ... gets kinda difficult to keep everything in view.

From what we've heard, most of the items don't just appear in your pack. Rather, they exist in the game world and you'll have access to them at some point.

I wonder how that would work. But I'm pretty sure they will appear to you soon after you start the game. Its kinda pointless to have all that dlc if you can't use it. But as all dlc it will get worned out pretty quickly. Soon you'll find better armor and better inventory. Oh but I'll be sure to make very good use of the Warden's Keep. That dlc is my first priority once I start the game. At least I wish. I'll probably be playing while the dlc downloads. *sigh* preload steam pretty please.

I don't think any game could handle that much awesomeness in one area, but maybe.

Meh...probably the first thing I'll mod is completley re-balancing the droppable loot, prices and model mode scaling.

I'm gonna make sure 90% of the dropped armors are broken or damaged and unusable. And you'll NEVER get a plate mail drop. You want one? Either find one in a chest or spend a fortune buying one. I WILL make the player poor and starving for gold and magic items.

That would take a lot of work.

I plan on using all my DLC even if i could sell it.

The blood dragon armor will almost certainly not have a mass effect reference. They are different looking armors at least slightly... I hope there is no reference. That would kinda ****** me off if there is.

I bet it will be in a place called the citadel.

It will probably be inside some ruins remarkably similar to the Protean ruins in appearance.

I've always found that publicity items are generally worthless in the game world.  They have good stats, but aren't worth any money, I mean.

I have two questions about the +3 stat book.

Anyone know if you start with it? Or how deep in the game it's located?

They say 'one use only.' I'm assuming that means per main character or play-through, not once per account?
