I've scoured the internets looking for an answer, but have yet to find one so here I am.
I play a lot of lan multiplayer in this game and we all use the emotes quite a bit. One of the people I play with has the text for the emotes appear over their head and in the chat box when they do them but no one else does. Collectively we cannot figure out why.
I checked all in-game settings, console commands, and .ini settings for a way to enable emotes to generate floating text and chat-box text, but have come up empty-handed.
Am I missing something obvious here?

Actually, I figured it out. Text only appears for emotes from the 4 new voice sets of each gender. This disturbs me greatly as the text for the other voice sets was already present in NWN 1. I am at a loss as to why this detail was left out.
