You can also fight with one of the other campanions, or a non-companion NPC for the affections of a potential love interest, with the possibility of alienating them. Or you can deliberately set up love interest to fight over you, potentially killing each other in the process. Just a thought.
That's a definite sign of true love, when you make people fight over you and can't be honest enough to just tell them what your real feelings are.

I would disagree...Sounds like something else....but for the sake of not starting an arguement I will elave it at that.

"Um... Hey, guys? Anyone want to kill this ogre that's gnawing on my leg? ...Guys?"

I want to go fight the guy/gal my LI sleeps with cheating on me...take out the competition/deal with it/end it....Would be a refreshing change considering how close morrigan seemed to be to that yet never quite got there.Collider wrote...
All I have to say is: do not want. No fighting, just do the "It's me or them" thing that was in DA:O (Alistair saying choose me or choose Zev, for example).

"Hey girls. Why are you yelling over here?"
"Umm.. nothing!"
"Kay"
<guy walks away, girls start fighting and tearing their clothing off>
"Aren't those girls great, Varric?"
<Varric is looking at the girls>
"Yeah..."

I'd rather enjoy it if one of the romances was completely oblivious to it.

I posted this on a different thread, but it summed up my feelings on the subject:
"Also, god, no I'd hate having to fight for a guy. Hate it, hate it, hate it. What sort of douchebag just sits back and watches as two women duke it out for him? What, winner take all? How is that love? How does he care? He can't make a decision on his own, he needs his love interests to do it? To me, it doesn't make the chase "harder" it makes it worthless. He's an adult, he should make these decisions. If a random old flame showed up and claimed him, and his answer was "Oh....hmmm...I don't know...." that just tells me he's not ready for another relationship. I like draaa~ma in my LIs, I like conflict, but I expect him to, in the end, actually love me.
And, good lord, don't get me started on having to compete with a party member for your love interest."
At the moment, I was specifically talking about fighting over a male LI, but it applies to women too.

I guess. If he's oblivious, then it's not exactly a competition, it's just some chick moving in on my man. Which I'm okay with. So long as I can break her nose or something. It seems a little unfair/impossible to lose a fight he knows nothing about.

I thought of it as an achievement romancing two characters then marrying the queen...If only I left leliana at camp...she quickly broke up with me...yukidama wrote...
Meh. I am actually not too keen on the whole love triangle drama stuff. I've avoided romancing two characters at the same time in Origins for the exact reason.
I have now noticed a limit to how many posts you can amke in a period of time....anyone else?
