Just listening to Leliana's describtion of Orlais makes me see how depressing Ferelden is. To the east we have the thin vieled forest with werewolves, darkspawn and countless evil spirits. To the north we have haunted soldier's peak and cold mountain maze paths. To the west we have the village of haven where villagers butcher people and the entrance to the darkspawned filled deep roads. And last but not least we have the wilds in the South filled with barbarians and witches....pretty lame country to live in if you ask me
Sometimes i just wish i could explore Orlais in all its splendor, just as Leliana described. Their main capital sounds so much more grand compared to Denerim, which is fulled with bandits, blood mages, drunk and violent mercenaries and elves living in poverty. The people in Orlais always dress themselves as fashionable as they can, which would be very fun to look at i guess. and the Shoooeeesss..... ^o^
anyways, this is just what i think. I wish in DAO 2 we can explore this magnificent country
