Hang on, my old links are somewhat jacked up. Okay, the first part, I guess you already know, but seeing as how this is a forum and someone's likely to come by asking where to get patches, this will be for them:

NWN2 Official Language Patches has
MOST of all the patches you'll need to download for updating. They are missing the final 1.22.1588 to 1.23.1763 and the 1.23.1763 to 1.23.1765 patches. On the plus side, they are all ordered by language and patch numbers, so it's easy to see them.

Sadly, this one is not so well organized.
I can't speak for the location of other language versions, as I am an English Speaker with only budding French, Spanish and German skills (which I only ever got to use in Lake Tahoe, CA, go figure) so I only know where the English files are. Sorry, you'll have to look up your specific languages and post their general page positions yourselves. The english patches for 1.23.1763 and .1765 are located approximately:

(of course, the observant reader will simply click the links I have handily provided in my descriptions.)
That said, here are some basic rules of thumb I found useful when I had to download these files due to my inability to have a stable connection faster than 14.4 not too long back.
- When downloading files, make sure to grab the correct ones for your needs.
- Files marked: nwn2_pc_[language] are for NWN2 only installations. In other words, if you only have NWN2 without expansions, these are the files for you.
- Files marked: nwn2_pcx1_[language] are for NWN2 + Mask of the Betrayer (MotB).
- Files marked: nwn2_pcx2_[language] are for NWN2 + Storm of Zehir [SoZ] (with or without MotB.)
- Files with their language marked after that are, I would hope obviously, for their specific langauge versions.
- the numbers after this, such as: "from106972_to106973.zip" indicate the patch level they replace (the first one) and the patch level they will take you up to (the second one.)
- By careful inspection, you can determine which patching path (ie: the number and numerical order of the files) is the shortest for you. This can help you reduce the overall number of files you have to download.
- Grab the Manual Patcher by tnt220 at the bottom of the Official Languages link.
- Also note that you can Update Offline, with the zip files placed in your: Program Files/ Atari/ Never Winter Nights 2/ folder, just make sure you're not connected (in your particular case, that shouldn't be an issue) and then click Update. It's going to tell you you're not connected, then proceed to look in your main folder for the files.
That's really about it. And now the files should be selectable from here. Win win win.
