you can avoid wrex as a squadmate and he remains in the citadel so,could you recruit him after the mission on virmire and in that way you avoid the confrontation with him in virmire?
PS:This is my first post so I apologize if it is in the wrong place

If you're worried about the confrontation on Virmire, there are two ways to resolve it without letting Wrex die. If your Paragon is high enough he will listen to your reasoning and follow you. Additionally, if you complete a subquest in which you find and return his family armor to him, he will also not die.

If you don't recruit garrus you can also keep him

That only works if you don't recruit Liara until after Virmire.

I believe it's possible to not recruit Wrex though (if you recruit Garrus first). Never tried it, but I'd imagine he should survive in that scenario.

This.  Talk to Wrex eventually he will tell you about the armor.  Then go to the Phoenix System of Arghos Rho and go to Tuntao.

Good tips from people...besides that I do wonder if it is possible to never recruit Wrex. I heard it is possible to not recruit Garrus and you just remember him as that C-Sec guy in ME2.

Yes, it is possible (you do have to recruit either him or Garrus, though).

Consider that if you don't recruit him, he will continue to see no reason to return to Tuchanka. Therefore, he would have no reason to assume leadership of Urdnot. Therefore, Wreav stays in charge.

The game seems bugged in ME2 when it comes to Wrex if you don't recruit him. The file transfer says that he lived through virmire. When you talk to Wreav, it seems although as you killed him though. Also, the various other characters, either randomly remember you killing him or him being in charge.

Its a mistake by the writers, but lets be honest, only a completionist  would intentionally not recruit wrex to see what happens (like what i did). It probably wasn't very high priority on their list of things to do, especially since in the default file he died on Virmire

You can just go straight there, I believe it works as long as you have him in the squad (he'll say something like, "hey, I know this place", and you'll get that quest right there).

Don't even need him in your squad. Merely hack the safe and then give him the armour once you get back on the ship.

But if you bring him with you to get the armor, then you don't have to bother going to the lower deck of the Normandy to give it to him. The quest resolves right there. :wizard:

More of a tortoise man since Krogan are terrestrial.  I suppose that they could've evolved from tortoise-like reptiles given that most dev concept drawing depict them with armored shells on their backs, forearms, and legs as well as their heads.

Krogan have two very different physical characteristics that set them apart from tortoises, though.

1. Tortoises do not have teeth, but Krogan do.

2. The humps on a Krogan's back store fat and fluids for long term sustainance similar to the functionality of a camel's hump.

Don't see why you'd want to not recruit Wrex he's incredibly useful as a walking shield. And at higher levels along with Liara their Biotics are unstoppable,
