I am a female and I think that a game like Dragon Age attracts a signifigant # of female players. Yet we've been shunned in both Dragon Age and Mass Effect Trailers.  I think it is about time we got our own trailer! Even if it is just on the website.

Are you a woman?

Don't you want to see what your experience will look and sound like?

Something tells me that using a male is better for marketing. That's why male trailers will always come first. And women trailers will always come second, if ever. This is the sad reality. Personally, I don't care who they use in a trailer, I'll still love Dragon Age all the same.

Actually, I agree with the ladies. There SHOULD be a female trailer for the game. I for one would love to see it as a change to it always being male-orientated.

Plus, it'll show off the game's customisation options.

...Oh yeah, and maybe pull more females into the DA fold. Which is always a good thing.

I liked the trailer.
EDIT: Both the DA2 one and the one you created for ME

Can't remember how many threads we've had about this, but I'm still with the OP. I'd love a LadyHawke trailer, although at this point I'd settle for just seeing her in a screenshot.

@Dynamomark, the maleHawke trailer did come first. How about it being LadyHawke's turn now?

Except there are a lot of us. Especially on DA and ME. We are skilled gamers with money and nobody is marketing to us. Why waste money on the same gamer pool as everyone else? Go after the market noone else is tapping.

There is a significant female market and it is well worth the money spent on a 2nd trailer to truly tap it.

Still, I really doubt we will be seeing your Lady Hawke in BLUR cinematics. I am not hatin', just telling the facts.

Better wait for some ingame trailers, that should be better.

Daryn Mercio you are not a female are you? You would prefer a male Hawke over a female naturally. But as a female I can't identify with that character as yo would not identify with a female character. IMHO having tried both Female Shepard was far superior in every way to the male. Many males would disagree, but watching the male ME2 trailer did nothing for me. I wasn't interested until I saw the female version.

Honestly, there haven't been a whole lot of female protagonist games. Anyone remember "Oni"? And there was another one..."To live to die another day" or something like that...Then there is bayonetta but i think for games that allow you to choose either to be male or female, just give us a faceless person for trailers and stuff so we can start thinking of how we are going to make our person look.

Bungie <3

And Perfect Dark was another one?

With what the OP said; I can see how you could identify easier with a female character (Personally I find it no more difficult to get into a game with a female protagonist and relate to that character, than I do with a male one) and I agree, Bioware should show a female build of the character. I for one would find it awesome.

Even if it was to make the same trailer but with a female character,  I for one would still find it totally awesome.

I agree that the next trailer should definitely feature Lady Hawke. I think given that in the first trailer the main character did a fair bit of bleeding, it was understandable they'd want to use the male character for that, but maybe in the next trailer the main character can win her battle more decisively, and Lady Hawke can be the one featured in it. It certainly would be cooler with her in it anyway :) .

No chance of a female trailer, but it is time for them to show some screens of her.

With games that allow you to customize and create your own character, have a default but put up a picture of the defaults of both instead of falling with the old standby of "Main character is Male".

Same here.
I find it really hard to get into a game if i'm forced to play as a male. I think bw would attract a lot of female players if they advertised the fact that you can play as a female instead of hiding it.

I be surpised if they do make a female lead trailer, can't see it happening really, which is shamefull in this day and age, depending and i mean depending if da 2 is good, still on the fence and see alot of cutting back after da:o, i just glad you can play as a female char, unless it's a really good game, i don't play unless you can be female.

Err. If you ****** us, do we not bleed? What, you can't show a female warrior bleeding? I'm puzzled.
