To me, This does not make sense, why release one with out the other, It would be like bioware Making Awakening before ever showing us Origins:blink:

Probably because they just can't release the first one (Microsoft won't allow it) but want to make money of the second one.

Let's just hope Microsoft loosen up and let EA publish ME1 to PS3 unless Microsoft does it themselfs :)

the reason why me1 CAN'T come to ps3 is because microsoft published it unlike EA did with ME2, therefore EA don't have the rights to port ME1 on to the ps3, it will remain exclusive to xbox and pc, sorry mate

Huh? You have ME2 registered to your account, so either you have a 360 or a PC that can play it. So why not play ME1?

Because Microsoft is beyond selfish and greedy they just want people to have to buy the 360 to be able to play ME1 . I have played ME1 on the 360 but I own the PS3 and I will never own a 360 so Im outta luck for this

They never confirmed that they had an exclusivity contract with Microsoft. After EA bought BioWare, they published Mass Effect on PC themselves without Microsoft's involvement. ME3 is coming out on Wii U without ME1 or ME2, and no console owner signed an exclusivity deal for ME2, meaning they have other motivations not to release ME2 on Wii U. I believe it's possible that ME1 was not released on PS3 for the same reason ME2 won't be released on Wii U: They don't want to port an old game.

Not without a link ( masseffect.bioware.com/about/trilogy/  ), it's not, and a LINK looks like the one here in the parentheses.

There's no way for us to know that.  Refresh your recollection of where you are.  These forums are for gamers to interact with one another.  Bioware's people have never been regularly available on their forums to answer much of anything.  The only exception is during the closing weeks leading to a new release.
