One thing that has been overlooked by everyone in this thread, including myself until now, is that Hawke or Shepard can be either sex.
If it's male Shep vs femme Hawke I'd bet on Shepard bringing out the big guns. That's right, I'm talking about his smooth pickup lines and awesome dance moves.
Femme Hawke wouldn't be able to resist his charms and they'd make sweet love, creating a god baby of badassery.

It's a bit like asking, who would win in a fight to the death? A Knight Templar or an SAS Operative? Melee Hawke would be bringing a blade to a gun fight. Even if Hawke is a mage he can't do any damage to Shepard. Before Hawke can get in range to cast his first spell he takes a well placed round from a sniper rifle between the eyes. Game over, Hawke.

I disagree with that. Shephard went through Alliance and N7 training. They would obviously have to have more than just weapons training. All militaries teach their soldiers some form of close quarters combat training and I don't see how Shepard would be any different especially after graduating N7 which is the special forces of the Alliance.SithLordExarKun wrote...

And for the record, in a straight up melee fight, Hawke tears Shepard to ****s, we have yet to actually witness Shepard getting into a melee fight.

Yes, but just because Shepard DOES have H2H training, that doesn't indicate he will beat a fully trained and fully armored knight. I have even seen street thugs take out fully trained commandos, whats stopping an even more powerful warrior from doing that? Especially after what we see of his combat skills and powers he could unleash out?Newnation wrote...
